  • Molly Wagner: Every Decapitation Serves a Purpose (A Monologue)

Such a great monologue for any young actress! I love her conviction, her determination, and the tiny nugget of her personal life is said so matter-of-factly that she hardly gives you enough time to feel a bit heartbroken over it.

  • Molly Wagner: Allen's Big Adventure

Oh, this monologue is just beautiful. While recounting all of the adventures the two shared I could feel a full life unfold, and the sentimentality of death as the next big adventure really hit hard. Lovely!

  • Molly Wagner: Collective Empathy Formation from 1968 and 2018

I loved that this play is both a history lesson, a character study, and a philosophical discussion all in one. Filled with powerful moments, it was eye opening to see how a group of theatre kids, who believe themselves to be the most empathetic and understanding, still retain prejudices and carry themselves from a place of privilege. This is a play that will have the lobby buzzing with conversations afterwards.

  • Molly Wagner: Trudy Tries To Say I Love You But Runs Out Of Breath

Quirky and delightful. The dialogue is so fun and refreshing and the characters are so strange in the most perfect way!

  • Molly Wagner: Mermaids

This short play is tenderly devastating in a way that sneaks up on you.

  • Molly Wagner: THE GANTRY GIRLS

Great roles for actresses, each returning to their childhood home and mother with their own baggage. These sisters don't demand any pity from the audience, which is refreshing given the heavy subject matter that reunited them. As they discuss the past and the present we understand why they stayed apart, and why they came back together.

  • Molly Wagner: GIRL IN THE RED CORNER

Incredible characters and story about the people we need to hold on to and the things we need to let go. Great roles for women!

  • Molly Wagner: Off Center

Off Center is a sweet and beautiful play complete with a rich cast that we really get to understand and care deeply about in ten short minutes. It The characters ask us to question not just what defines art, but how art shapes the lives we lead.

  • Molly Wagner: Cam Baby

Whew. An incredible look at how we deal with privacy and identity in today's age. The characters deliver some hard truths and difficult introspection with realistic and comedic dialogue. Each character is specific and nuanced, I especially love the way the character of Clara is pulled back from the edge of being a victimy-trope. She speaks truths to what it means to be "an undateable girl" but refreshingly flawed and not completely innocent. These are great roles for actors in their 20s with some incredible monologues.

  • Molly Wagner: Grip

A short play that details some of the extremes people go to try and make sense of the life they are leading as two sisters come to terms with privilege and living through the hands they've been dealt.
