BUY THIS PLAY!!! PRODUCE THIS PLAY!!! I could spend so much more time with all these characters but Birkenmeier has given us a perfect peek into their lives. A play about a huge moment in history and big themes that is sooooo intimate.

Got to watch the Theatre in Quarantine production of this and was blown away. Birkenmeier perfectly captures the tension surrounding being a teenager that has so many feelings that they want to get out but are afraid to. Loved the connection to Bye Bye Birdie!!

I left a performance of this play mere seconds ago and needed to rush on here and recommend. It's a play I will be processing for a long time to come but what I can say with certainty is that it was the play I needed today. I never thought I would say that about a zoom play set during the current pandemic. I feel like I have so many more ways to see my faith thanks to this story shared by so many that Noelle has given voice to.

The places Weingarten goes with the poetic imagery and metaphors is so thrilling.
