An absolutely haunting memory play and fascinating character study. I loved how nuanced this play’s exploration of personal aspirations is. Please someone produce this!!!

I loved this take on Our Town. Obviously good to know the play but not necessary. This play touches on themes of loss, rebirth and nostalgia that so many can relate to. I really hope this play gets produced all over. Really great opportunity for a large cast of young actors to pay homage to a huge part of the theatrical canon while also proving the necessity of subverting classic plays.

  • Shaun Leisher: High School Coven

A super entertaining play that will make you laugh and break your heart. A really great piece about the bond between females and their power to take on patriarchy.

  • Shaun Leisher: SOMETHING FOR THE FISH

A truly magical and poetic play. A play about the stories we tell and who we listen to in our society. A cautionary tale and a tale of hope that I hope to see fully staged soon.

  • Shaun Leisher: POSITIVE

A raw, visceral short play that really lets you into the messiness of female life both existentially and physically. The use of the bathroom stall location invites the audience into a rarely visited place and Krause completely subverts expectations by the conversation that is being had between Beck and T. I'm all for more plays set in bathrooms that combine the unexpected and natural.

  • Shaun Leisher: Dust

Theatre can't be all escapist entertainment. It needs to expose atrocities and give voice to the voiceless. As long as women's voices are silenced and ignored, men will be free to commit horrible violence against them. This play needs to heard and seen. People always say art can change the world. This is the kind of work that actually can.

  • Shaun Leisher: Siren Songs

Lindsay Partain brings the descent into madness to vivid life with this tightly paced one act. A real gift for actors, directors and designers that are interested in making theatre magic to terrify audiences with this true tale.

  • Shaun Leisher: Glitter in the Glass

The conversations happening in this play around the issues of race, class, gentrification and the purpose of art and fascinating and will provide endless post-show conversations for audiences. The characters are surprising and I would happlily see another play just about any one of them. Magic is a big part of this play that is so grounded in realism until the world and set of the play explodes. Can't wait to see this play continue to be developed and be fully realized on stage by adventurous theatre makers.

  • Shaun Leisher: Colonialism is Terrible, But Phở is Delicious

Such a unique take on colonization. Dustin Chinn is really killing it.

  • Shaun Leisher: In the Cotton

The conversations in this play are ones that need to be had everyday in this nation. This play features a large cast of complex characters and is perfect for university theatre programs.
