I truly fantastic play that looks at the relationship among siblings in such a unique way. It is poetic and so raw and intimate and has a conclusion that will leave audiences breathless and with so much to think about.

This play is brilliant!! It's hysterical while being heartbreaking and so tense. The characters are so multi-faceted and the ways they deal with the situation they face will surprise and move audiences. This is play needs to be produced. Anna Moench needs to be produced everywhere.

The tension in this play is on a different level. Stakes are so high for these two American soldiers and the Syrian women they meet in war ravaged Aleppo. It's a play about something big but told in such a poetic and intimate way. Darcy Parker Bruce has created a gorgeous play that forces audiences to see the horrors of war and wrestle with the ethical situations soldiers are forced into.

This play can start out feeling like a comedy or coming of age story set in detention with a group of African American students but it quickly becomes so much more. It's a play that portrays the things that trap the black community and a play that breaks down the idea that that community is some kind of monolith. This plays has many roles for young black actors that are complex and free from the stereotypes that today's media is filled with. Really hope this gets produced soon!!

We need more dystopian satires like this!! Dustin Chinn has written a hilarious and super smart play that will make white people uncomfortable but if they stick with it they will learn something and really be entertained.

This is what people mean when they refer to theatre as a spiritual experience. Svich uses poetry and music to tell this gripping, heart-wrenching story that is like the ones belonging to so many women. This play is a primal scream of rage and I'm glad Svich has channeled it into vital art.

A gorgeous monologue for Maria after the tragic end of West Side Story. The voice of a woman who has never felt welcome in America. A reminder in our world post-Hurricane Maria, that despite how beloved West Side Story may be the people it's about are being more and more dehumanized each day.

In the Subject Matter Keywords section, Rose refers to this play as a "Theatrical Symphony" and I don't think I could find a better term to describe it. This play is poetic, musical, fantastical and so rooted in truth. A play that is desperately needed in our society that so many view as "post-racial" as a way to recall our ugly past and see how little we have actually progressed.

A brilliant play about the mistreatment of women in Biblical times and the further mistreatment by how their stories have been told or not told. It's a play about the desire of the young to know their history and the desire of the old to forget and how they have so much to learn from each other. The kind of story that is needed in the time of #MeToo and especially #ChurchToo.

This play is an intense punch in the gut and the best play about the idea of a post-racial society that white people like to talk about that I have read in quite awhile. Read this play. Produce this play. Make those that fill our theatres super uncomfortable.
