A hilarious play that hits on some truly poignant themes. The characters in this show speak to each other so realistically it's amazing and emotional. Great roles for some talented actors to tackle.

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: Bird Brains

This play elegantly captures the beauty of birds and is very humorous! I love seeing a piece dedicated to these delightful little creatures.

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: Rock Me to Sleep

This is such a sincere piece. It's an amazing thing when a writer can make you laugh and cry with their words. This play succeeds in that. Simply put, it's tragically beautiful. This would make a fantastic addition to any play festival looking to make their audience feel something heart-rending.

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: BFFL's Remorse

I love this play, because while for the audience this is a zany and comedic moment between two people mourning, this type of thing is totally a reality. I'm happy to read a play that talks about this part of grief. There is a great mix of emotions in this play, it's got a lot of heart in it, and it would be a fantastic addition to any night of short plays.

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: The Wedding Night Tweets

I started reading this play, and then realized I saw it done at my university last year. It's a great piece on how technology can change our social interactions. Of course, it's also hilarious. It was definitely an audience favorite that night! Fun roles!

A great mix of sweetness and poignancy. Very real characters that actors could really dig their claws into. Unique setting too!

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: Fossil Lady

A truly captivating and immersive exploration of Mary Anning and the difficulties she faced. Though the piece takes place in the past its themes are extremely relevant in contemporary society.

I recently saw this play performed at my university. It's a great blend of science fiction and comedy, that has a few very eccentric characters for actors to play around with. I'd recommend this show for anyone looking for an out of the box theatrical experience. The plot twist is too good!

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: Locker Room

I've always subscribed to the belief that specificity makes good comedy, and this play has some truly hilarious specificity! Hageman displays a unique and skewed take on typical jock talk that boils down to pure fun. There are some great roles in here for actors to really enjoy themselves with, both physically and through dialogue.

  • Ryan M. Bultrowicz: Last Dance with MJ

A hilarious and intuitive take on some real issues that we are now facing in our technology-filled world. Both female characters truly shine in this piece, and Partain's use of witty dialogue to drive her story forward is uncanny. This play would make a great addition to any short play festival.
