This is a safe space-- you will find only tenderness and patience here. A lovely short that shows the hurt and the healing after tragedy. A powerful scene for two actors looking to dive headfirst into the grit of the moment. A great play for any theatre looking to produce through Protest Plays.

And. This. Is. Good. --A gorgeous piece that swallows you up entirely in the language and the lush imagery. This cosmic dance with God- the celestial mother- from the very beginning of this piece I could see her in my mind's eye, could feel her presence in me. This play filled me up, moved me, made me move with her. If you're looking for Eden, start here.
  • You're Hired! A 10-Minute Play

"Deus ex machina? It's about time!" A non-stop comedy with rich language and great pace. This play is a friendly reminder that if it's a group interview, you're probably over-qualified.
  • EDWARD CULLEN RUINED MY MOTHER'S LOVE LIFE
    5 Apr. 2018
Buttery transitions, vulnerable characters that are funny and relatable-- there's so much to love about this play! Stephanie Walker packs a ton into this short piece about trust and what happens when that trust is broken; who it hurts. I love the connection at the end, the use of the 1 male character as the step-in for "all men", and that Ramona is a *sexy* mom (something I almost never see). A must read!
  • Prince Nice Guy
    3 Apr. 2018
The baboon of a prince and the sarcastic squire are such a wonderful pair! Hageman highlights her comedic talents in this "what about the nice guys?" family-friendly short. This would be a great fit for any theatre producing an evening of short feminist pieces.

My heart is melting and my eyes are leaking! They say that everyone seeks comfort in their own way and this is such an innocent, sweet, liberating, coming-of-age-even-into-your-20s play that helps ease even the sorest spirit. I know this girl, I've been this girl, I've comforted this girl-- hell I've even been Jake. Two actors with a lot of chemistry could make this diamond shine hard enough to light the eyes of a thousand audiences and I still don't think it'd ever get tired.

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE FOLKS IN THE BACK! Bublitz has shed light and brought laughter to feminism and what it ISN'T. A very relevant play that I would love to be in, see, or quote from while rocking a baby and a pussy hat. /// "Feminism is not here to dictate to you. It's not prescriptive, it's not dogmatic. All we are here to do is give you a choice..." (Emma Watson)
  • Chair, or Maybe Sand

Saying that this piece is hauntingly delicious does not even begin to cut it (no pun intended). Hill has written something that not only never let me get ahead but that is purely terrifying. A+++ Recommend to anyone who likes a good scare.
  • Flesh, Blood, & Glass
    3 Apr. 2018
A truly heartwarming father-daughter piece that delves into what it means to be truly strong, to be feminine, masculine-- there is so much to take away from this play! It would be a wonderful addition to any shorts festival.
  • Suicide Hotline

A fun spin on the: "at least I'm not *that* guy" story. Suicide Hotline is funny, witty, and makes you think twice before hanging up on all those wrong numbers that keep calling in...
