Fascinating and powerful, and once you figure out what's going on, you're absolutely hooked. I love this play--so much is said in just a few short pages. As always, Burbano wields the pen with great power.
  • When I Fall in Love, It Will Be..., a 10-minute play

I love this play. It takes a part of dementia that you would never think about, and lovingly throws it into the light. These two characters are beautifully developed, and this play is such a lovely read. Take a moment to read it and enjoy!
  • The Breakup Play

Sharply funny and poignant with an interesting structure, "The Break Up Play" is a well-written piece with three fascinating characters. Strafford pulls you in in just a few pages, and then leaves you with a sense of loss, even after the laughter. A great piece.

I am absolutely in love with this play. It's tender and beautiful and so incredibly honest. Pipes is one of my favorite writers--what she writes always reaches directly into the heart. Absolutely beautiful.

This play is deeply educational at heart, and very amusing on the surface! Simon shows in just a few deft pages how everyone around us can help us better ourselves. There is no judgement in this play, no need to teach, plenty is said without saying anything at all. Beautiful and sweet!

Scalding, delightful, and so very funny. I love the dark humor of this because while it is funny (and it is VERY funny), it's also important and it's ABOUT TIME we talked about this nonsense! As usual, Goldman-Sherman does amazing work!

Tender, incredibly human, and important. I love how the relationship between these two characters is so fully and deeply developed. You see an entire lifetime in their interactions. A wonderful play.
  • TEN MINUTES ... more or less

A really interesting ten minute play. Very dark and high stakes and interesting. This would be a very gripping play to watch and experience--I can imagine that everyone would feel quite breathless by the time it was over!
  • Squirrelly: A Ten-Minute Play
    24 Jul. 2020
This play is hilarious, but it's the truly the sheer definition of a dark comedy. It's thoughtful and dark and philosophical and shockingly existential. It's an absolutely brilliant play that gets the audience suddenly thinking, and then probably leaving a bit disturbed, asking each other, "Man, you remember that squirrel play??"
