  • It's My Party!, a 10-minute play
    18 Jan. 2024
Susan Middaugh has written a touching and powerful play about two women whose lives are very different, forced to share a jail cell for drug possession. The dialogue really moves, the play feels very truthful. By the end of the play you feel like you really know these women and you really care about them.
  • Amongst the Stars

This lovely two-hander will get to you early on and you’ll never want it to end. Touching, magical and romantic. Amongst The Stars is a sweet treat for both actors and audiences. Enjoy it.
  • INGROWN FEAR a monologue
    16 Dec. 2023
Marj O'Neil-Butler's INGROWN FEAR says so much in so few words. In this wonderful monologue, you see a country boys life change in an instant. After I finished reading it it took me a moment to fully get how life changing a single event can be in our lives. Truthful and very well written. Read it!
  • First Day in Trade
    7 Dec. 2023
I totally enjoyed this delightful play about meeting Ms Kennedy Onassis in a work place (Doubleday). The absolutely believable dialogue really moves and the emotions seemed absolutely real, And I could totally relate. Many years ago I worked at a very elegant ladies clothing store in New York and waited on Mrs Onassis. This play expresses what I felt better than I ever could. Delightful!
  • Gag Economy
    5 Dec. 2023
John Bussers “Woman” in his monologue "Gag Economy" has got a way with words in this spiky monologue. You laugh and love her as she vents and lets you know very early why she is where she is. She speaks her mind and we hear her loud and clear. And we can’t help but cheer for her since we’ve all been where she’s at at one time or another. A great monologue!
  • Abandonment [a 1-minute play]
    3 Dec. 2023
Steve G. Martin is truly a master at being able to communicate deep emotions in a very short period of time. His play Abandonment says so much so quickly and deeply. After finishing it took me a moment to realise how very touched I was by it.
  • Casting
    25 Nov. 2023
In life we are so often judged by the way we look. Casting, by Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn, gets right to the heart(lessnss) of how hurtful judging can be. Sarcastic and funny, this wonderful gem of a play treats body shaming with both humour and shame.
  • The United Plays of America - Alaska, Moose Lips
    31 Oct. 2023
I TOTALLY enjoyed every moment of Alaska, Moose Lips. I never knew I could ever read a play and be so entranced by the characters interest/fascination with a Moose's lips. And as the 2 characters discuss the lips we learn a ton about them. Fascinating- and a lot of fun. Ya gotta read it to believe it-- and then a production!
  • Bars
    28 Oct. 2023
I’ve often wondered what my pets were thinking. Well Jennifer O’Grady, in her monologue, BARS, delightfully captures the thoughts of her parakeet- and it’s a sweet treat. It’s eye opening and even insightful. And I know actors will love working on this one- so much fun!
  • The Weak Link in the Chain
    23 Oct. 2023
I believe we all have feelings, moments, days or even years that the narrator shares in Christopher Plumridge's powerful and touching monologue. So we can identify with what the narrator has experienced for his entire lifetime. Beautifully written, it will surely affect you. Truly an original!
