Ross Tedford Kendall’s Blinded is a fascinating play. It took me to a place I know little about academia- and disability. The relationships between the characters are clear and convincing, and the dialogue totally believable. And the surprise in the play is well earned. I enjoyed it so much I reread it several times. Highly recommended!

The States Collection - Nebraska by Claudia Haas is a trip you’ve never taken before- ever! It’s hysterically funny, bizarre and original. This short play is about corn, and it’s impact on one of the characters--- and that’s all I’m going to tell you. Just READ IT!

Christine Fosters short play Blind Larks, had me totally engaged me from the first few lines. Four teachers trapped in a cave in a wilderness park and how they try to cope is tension filled and yet still has moments of humor. Each of the characters deal with their tension in their own unique way. I believe this play will be getting many productions. Highly recommended!

Arianna Rose’s, Blame It On Barbie, is a delight from start to finish. In this short play she manages to create two totally believable characters (a mother and a daughter), an emotional conflict and a loving resolve. Who can’t relate to disappointing our parents at one time or another? Well crafted. Highly recommended!

But hold on, Jack Levine’s comedic short play takes us in a direction we haven’t been before. As William tries to warn the young man about all the disadvantages of marrying his daughter, Jack comes back at him like a cool, romantic superhero, never giving in for an instant. This delightful play teaches us some unspoken truths about love --and marriage. Delightful!
