This is such an amazing journey of one man's love affair with his partner Jose who was Tony so eloquently puts it, his eye as well as his love and there is nothing so crushing as to hear Tony say goodbye to this lover. The language is so simplistic in feel and it is that simplicity that tears at your heart long after you finish reading and have time to think back on just one man's journey through love and goodbyes and of course grief.

Always be careful of what's in the contract. A dark and twisted tale of one such soul who didn't do their research before signing the dotted line.

Wow. This play packs so much emotion in its few pages about loss and family.

Such a nightmare as a parent I would suppose and as a parent wouldn’t you try to be there for your son or daughter even after all that he’s or she’s done. humans are always so quick to judge and point fingers. All of us so eager to jump onto any bandwagon that makes it easier to just look away and say villain and pray that it makes the world not look at you and your family too closely or turn a lamp on onto your secrets and skeletons that are just waiting to be uncovered.

Spiders are one of the most common ick things in our planet and I was a lot like Tom when I lived in the South, and it wasn't till I moved to the PNW that I really got to understand and care for spiders by letting them live inside the house and trying to help them out if they did get in. Tom is facing his fears in honor of his brother and sometimes that sort of love can make you do the most miraculous and bravest things.

Who wouldn't enjoy having some confidence building as you're on a first date, especially if dating is not your thing or your confidence is low or so many other reasons that WingTips would come in very handy in this world for sure. Funny and great commentary on the world of online dating.

Ah, the sacred of all sacred places, the teenager's bedroom and definitely a Keep Out sanctuary that this Mum is brave enough to enter without an invite. Love the list of things she lists that have been "missing" for a while.

A Shot in the Light is funny and very dark indeed, a combination I always enjoy. We have all been there in Arthur and Jessie's place and most of us have probably had "those" thoughts of if only . . . . I love that it is just this unassuming mild, mid-aged couple who are just going about their day and carry on once the deed is done.

Don’t mess with a bear who wants his due credit for the victories he’s won and this bear has a lot more reason to ask for his dues considering he’s not just any bear but a vampire bear. Another great chapter in the bear series that is as exciting as it is heart and gut wrenching in the best of ways.

Life is definitely about the chances that come our way. Chances that can move us in one or the other direction, or maybe spin us around so we are disoriented and feel the world falling out from under our feet. Paul Smith's play is rich in character and mood and an ending that literally will take the breath out of you, it's that good and for me completely unexpected. Like the Linda says about the park, things tend to get a bit more dangerous after the sun goes down.
