  • Ross Tedford Kendall: No Bikini

A play that reminds us that there are boundaries, and that some may still not understand it. It really puts you in Jess's position in a clever and insightful way.

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: Biden's America

A play that truly captures the relief and joy a lot of people felt, which is expressed in the characters. Short, but sweet and memorable.

An amazing narrative in the lives of five young women as they pursue hopes and dreams, while beset with constant challenges. The language the playwright constructs is stunning, and the characters come alive on each and every page. Even the stage directions are essential to this carefully crafted world.

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: 2 Bdrm 1 Bath

The writer escalates the conflict so efficiently that it just builds up the comedy. Each cut is perfect in execution, and the sharp insight into the lives of these two is masterful. Well done!

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: The Third Act

An unexpectedly hopeful drama/romantic comedy. The playwright takes you on a real journey, filled with twists and turns, in a seemingly unassuming family story. But despite the narrative zig-zags, the play never loses its honesty. The characters are real, human, with flaws and virtues. Skillfully woven to a satisfying conclusion, this is a really great piece of theatre.

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: Our Time

Anyone with a struggle to achieve a dream will relate to this. The characters are sharply drawn and the comedy comes fast and yet natural. Sometimes the funniest plays are the ones that ring the truest of truths.

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: Goldfish

Short and genuinely scary, this is a fun little play in the vein of the pulp magazine tales. The level of tension created by just two actors and a goldfish is amazing to see. Well done!

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: Sapience

A masterful work. Burbano creates characters with autism, but shows us that they have hopes, dreams, flaws, and virtues like the rest of the world. In other words, people. Her story has a message, but it is not laid out for us. Instead, we are enraptured in the story, and from there, we see what it is the characters have to say. This is definitely a play I'll be thinking about, and I think you will, too!

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: The Watchdog Society

We all know what road is paved with good intentions. The Watchdog Society shows that while certain actions can maintain a superficial good feeling, they often have consequences. Perhaps unintended consequences, but that doesn't make them any less devastating. A forceful, no-punches pulled play that exposes the hypocrisy of the privileged, and the struggle of those who have a little to no voice.

  • Ross Tedford Kendall: The First Home for Connectivism: A new religion in two acts

Aberman skillfully ties two storylines together; the beginning of a new religion, and the far future when that religion has become mainstream. Both narratives are fueled by conflict, and all of the characters are fully invested, leading us into their worlds. This play grips you all the way through, and hits the emotional beats like a drum.
