This is a fun an d clever play. I love how the adults behave like children while the children are mature enough to rise above the occasion. I also enjoy the whip smart insults that remind me of some of my favorite theatre and TV characters.

So this is an INTENSE ten minutes. Bublitz throws us into the action and immediately makes us spectators to something that is noble but terrifying. Swallowed is definitely a script that will stay with me for a LONG time. This would be an amazing entry for a night of short plays and/or an anthology. I would love to see it staged and would love to see actors get their hands on this one.

I'm not a romantic, but even I'm misty after reading this one. Garrison gives us a tight ten minutes about a couple that finds their way back to each other after "weathering some storms" (I'll leave now). I also like the quick and witty dialogue that gets us through the exposition so quickly we feel as if we knew their history the whole time. I'd love to see this performed with age appropriate actors somewhere.

This is an adorable and sad situation. Thomas' voice comes across very clearly as we watch Mel navigate life after Miriam and adjust to the digital age. This would be an awesome addition to a festival or an anthology. I'm also a fan of this inter-generational relationship and a more realistic family than we typically see on stage.

I've had the privilege of watching this unfold at Tuesdays at 9 Chicago! We're only 20 pages in but I'm already hooked. Fardon is weaving a dark and mysterious tale and, if the set-up is any indication, this is going to be a fantastically creepy ride.

I admire Michele's way of finding humor in the strangest of times. I also admire her care with her characters as she gets us to laugh with them instead of at them. I can see this going over well in a festival or night of one-acts. I also think she's given designers a lot to play with here and my brain is actively plotting how I'd convey some of this if I were directing/designing.

This play needs so many productions! Minigan captures the feeling of one of the darkest days in recent memory clearly. I also appreciate that this mother actually listens to her daughter and evaluates her beliefs in relation to what's going on in the world. I'm in love with this script and hope to see a production soon!

I really want to see this one produced. I think it's an important, and relatable, conversation that most audiences will hopefully appreciate and learn from. Young's dialogue is also to the point and heavy. I would love to see two actors sink their teeth into this one.

This is a really cute little play. Lawing has this bird focal point but both characters are actually using it to talk about much bigger issues. I also love that this script gives older actors something to sink their teeth into.

This was not what I expected at all. I love this play's handling of classism (and the frustrations that come out of that) through repetition. Would definitely love to see this play produced and I think it would be a lot of fun for actors to play with.
