Silence can kill you…it takes the joy out of living. PTSD does the same thing and this short play does just that…it takes the joy out of a family. Trying to keep the family together the Mother and two kids do their best to placate their father’s obsession. Until they don’t. This is a dark and interesting short play.

This is a sad tale of loneliness. and yet hope. Hope that answers will come and questions answered. Julian needs an answer to the most important question in his life, and the audience will be relieved at the ending.

Great and fun characters, this short comedy has an old timey feel. Good twists and turns. Actors will have fun with this piece.

I have read and heard this short play several times and each time it moves me. Two characters in pain find a way to connect and help each other. After experiencing this play, the sound of sloshing water in a bottle comforts me.
