  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Just Like In The Movies

This is what I hope goes on behind the scenes of these movies. Growing up my mom always had this channel on during the holidays, and this play reminds me of that magic while also making me snicker at remembering how cheesy some of those movies can really be. Joe Swenson is a favorite of mine and this play is a blast to get through!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Santa’s Scarlet Letter

Wow, that absolutely crushed my heart. DC Cathro hits it out of the park with this one. An examination about love and tragedy, this is a must read for anyone obsessed with Christmas, tragedies, and monologues.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Three Characters in Search of They Know Not What

Samantha Marchant truly understands how to create captivating theatre. This is a piece you wish never ends, and I can only hope more adventures exploring the past of these characters come to light.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Sweet Sweet Christmas (a monologue)

I’ve had similar conversations with myself after my own diagnosis almost 5 years ago. While my circumstances may not be as severe, the pressures of having to eat around the holidays has never gotten easier. Going in blind I wasn’t expecting to feel so much for and relate to this character. Thank you Scott for creating such a wonderful monologue. This was truly a spectacular read.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: KAT SPARKS (HOME SHOPPING HOST): A MONOLOGUE

If I could I would watch as much Kat Sparks content as I could, what a fun character!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: P.S.A.: AN AIRPORT MONOLOGUE

If there is one thing to remember during the winter it’s to please be nice to airport workers, cause none of them are making these decision. Brilliant work from Asher Wyndham.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: But Why

What a powerful piece. I absolutely feel for Jane and just loved the progression of the conversation. Rachel Feeny-Williams is a mast of crafting dialogue and making the characters easy to relate to. This is a fantastic read and one I hope many get their eyes on!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Bagged

After living in an area where picking up after your dog was not a common practice, I think this play holds truth in both viewpoints. Hilarious work!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: They Call Me Tony

This is a brilliant monologue! Tony, or perhaps something else that is never revealed, is such a fun character and has so much spirit and emotion behind their words! Wonderful work!
