I would love to see this fairy-tale musical come to life. This play will be fun for young artists and their families not just because of the clever twist on a classic tale, but the discussion that you can have. Yes, Brick is right -- you have to realize your limitations -- but when you share your life with friends your dream can come true and happiness is possible! My favorite part is when the Wolf goes down the chimney and comes out of the house and calls me a hypocrite for eating bacon!

An original, heartbreaking, painful play about a father-daughter relationship. Memorable. It showcases the quirky imagination of its writer. There's a powerful monologue for an actress at the end of the play that's perfect for auditioning.

What's in Ian Thal's Kool-Aid? Whatever it is, I want to drink it. Cats & a bat in an attic -- Thal's images are wonderfully child-like. A perfect piece for puppeteers or costumers seeking a one-of-a-kind challenge. Fabulous, freaky, f-d up -- read it, perform it, direct it.

Arlecchino of Bergamo is an unforgettable, larger-than-life buffoon. From Heaven to Hell, from auto-cannibalism to clowning, the actor must showcase near madness, an animation and athleticism that is kind of like commedia del'arte to the power of 10. The playwright's logophilia -- the specificity, onomatopoeia and rhythm of Arlecchino's thought-process-in-action -- reminds me of wacky Mac Wellman.

Hey student actors! Are you disenchanted with academic administration? Then read this comedy, and perform it! This comedy is an intelligent, probing satire and criticism of administrative politics--- and it will certainly ruffle some feathers in administration. Honest, necessary political theatre just right for a daring group of actors. It's a lot of fun, with quick witty dialog. There's a pillow fight!!! The statement on student activism at the end of the play is powerful. There's no play like this.

SILUETA captures the glory, excitement, suffering (true, imagined, exaggerated), and (shouldn't we admit?) selfishness of being an artist. All that is captured wonderfully by the relationship between a "Primitive" artist and a "Minimalist" artist. Their relationship is intense, sexy, raw, cruel, and (surprisingly) hilarious. They tear each other to pieces, attack each other's artistic visions and ideas like weapons used to vandalize art. By presenting this couple the playwrights make us, the audience, wonder - What does it take to collaborate in a meaningful relationship? Can we admit our selfishness and failures so we can truly love another person?

This is an off-your-seat-funny play -- your audience will laugh from beginning to end. Hilarious interview! The playwright does a great job intensifying the play from beginning to end.

I haven't seen these two characters (gay seniors) or this setting (a retirement home) on any stage. The two men are complete characters, each with a distinct personality, voice and desire. Their back story is compelling. This play provides insight into a situation that many gay seniors encounter and makes you wonder what happens when a gay senior finds himself in a retirement community where he feels he doesn't belong... It does help that you have a lover with you, but what if the retirement community --your new home outside the gay community -- doesn't meet your needs? PRODUCE THIS

What is compelling about this short play is not that it is a breakup story that we can identify with. Rather it's the heartbreaking, painful insight on any relationship -- that one can prove to another person (a loved one, a friend, etc) your commitment, only to find out that the other person doesn't realize it -- even after several years. HAHAHAHA!!! Jolly knows how to intensify the cray-cray! What starts out as common bickering between a straight married couple turns into something else when the friend Christopher shows up -- a hilarious, almost absurdist comedy in which a couple's trust is tested. Christopher is such a dynamic character - what a great part for any actor. I'm not going to describe any memorable moments for you because I want you to be surprised. Produce this play. Your audience will laugh from beginning to end.
