  • Samantha Oty: The First (and Final) Meeting of the 7th Grade Girls Cult

Oh to be as fickle as a 7th grade girl trying to fine a place in the world again...

Don't miss it at all actually, so I'll just enjoy Shara Feit's clever one-act about the trials and tribulations of adolescent girlhood...instead of trying to turn the clock back.

Well developed characters each with a unique voice and unique motivation for wanting to be part of a cult.

  • Samantha Oty: Stung

A sweet little play about two people finding some kind of solace in one another. Ekstrand does a fantastic job at giving each character their own voice so the conversation moves smooth and naturally.

  • Samantha Oty: The Wednesday Train

Nobody knows what will happen to us when we die. However, Natalie creates a comforting scenario in which those who leave us aren't alone when they make the trip.

  • Samantha Oty: Before The Last Call

A short, powerful piece that reminds us that 9/11 began like any other day.

  • Samantha Oty: galatea 2.0

Fantastic. This is one of the best plays I've read in a long time. Mind-bending and increasingly relevant. An incredible retelling of "Pygmalion" and the other takes on the story we've seen so many times.

  • Samantha Oty: The Mockingbird's Nest

I did not see that twist coming! This is a great play if you're looking for a 'Black Mirror' style play to produce. The simple set and small cast makes this show possible for all theatre sizes. Great for high school performers but perfect for women over 50 looking for new and exciting roles.

  • Samantha Oty: THE SCARLET LETTER (Bible Belt, 1965)

Even though this play is set in 1965, the story and lessons taught in Shames play continues to ring true for many all over the world. An incredible, intense piece of theatre.

  • Samantha Oty: Easy Women Smoking Loose Cigarettes

I have not been able to stop thinking about this play since watching it online, thanks to Signature Theatre. Stoller has really created memorable characters through her snappy dialogue and fluid scene structure. It's impossible not to love them, despite their flaws and personal failures. I can't wait to see what else Stoller has to offer the theatre industry.
