I caught this at The Taproot Theatre and I can barely put into words how gorgeous it was. Complex characters, great roles for women and BIPOC actors, a fascinating world set during Reconstruction in Texas, lyrical prose, and when it delved into conflict, the characters never lost their three-dimensional humanity or vulnerability. And with a cast of four people and easy staging requirements, it is such a "doable" play. I hope many, many other theatres pick up this show!
