  • Ryan Kaminski: The Sun's Shadow

05/10/2025 - From the opening lines to the powerful closing, I was completely engrossed within this piece. The two characters are so well-developed that several times I found my allegiance switching from one to the other. Dana Hall has crafted such a fine play here, and I love the sound cues she uses throughout the script too. Bound to get any live audience on the edge of their seats. A great read from beginning to end. Check it out!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Hotel Blanco

05/05/2025 - A beautiful piece that sets a time, a place, introduces us to two wonderful complex characters in a marriage crisis....all in ten pages. I love the setting of this play and found myself on the edge of my seat as I read every line of dialogue. The way certain lines come back again is so well done. I would love to see this developed into a full-length. Excellent work!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Goodbyes Are For Losers

04/16/2025 - A profoundly powerful monologue. Would work great for an actor to audition with or work as a performance in a short play festival. There are so many powerful lines that make you think and reflect in just half a page. Gripping from beginning to end. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Strangers Off a Train

04/11/2025 - As a huge fan of "Strangers ON a train," I was hooked from the creative title alone. Great characters and a simple (yet engaging) plot mixed in with several nice little twists. It's engaging, heartwarming, and all around a great piece of theatre that would please any audience.

  • Ryan Kaminski: The Perfect Guests

04/11/2025 - I saw a staged reading of this piece at a festival in NJ recently. The audience discussed how this could be a thriller, or comedy, depending on how it is staged moving forward. Everyone was engaged from beginning to end and all agreed it was a funny (and scary) reflection of the times we live in. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: UNTIL NEXT WINTER

04/11/2025 - As someone who has been feeding a male and female cardinal throughout the winter, this one-minute piece certainly caught my attention! There's so much that can be interpreted here from both an acting and a directing standpoint. Would love to see this staged. Bravo!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Shadows Have Offended

04/11/2025 - A beautiful piece that will resonate with the theatre-lover, playwright, and human-being in all of us! From discussions about what we lost, to what we've gained, to the uncertainty of the future, the human condition is explored through the eyes of a playwright who has just gotten his big break and is uncertain of what comes next. Gripping from beginning to end and would work well in any short play festival. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Backyard Stonehenge

03/27/2025 - This piece went in many pleasant directions that I wasn't expecting! Part lighthearted comedy, part thought-provoking drama, and all enjoyment from beginning to end. The characters are rich, and I love the (almost) supernatural element that's incorporated near the end. Easy to produce and bound to bring a smile to every audience member's face. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: The Distancing

03/25/2025: A great powerful short play that will pull at the heartstrings and get everyone in the audience thinking and talking. There's so much to decipher in this piece. The line between "work" and "humanity" and the nature and conditions that connect us all. Simple to stage and easy to produce, this piece should be a part of any short play festival. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Manipulative

02/25/2025 - Heard a reading of this play the other night through an online play reading group in Atlanta, GA, USA. A lot of fun from beginning to end! It's great seeing the characters come together as well as watching how they all change in this engaging comedy. Piece was well received and I'd love to see a production of it someday!
