  • Ryan Kaminski: Doctor J's Magic Spray

10/27/2025 - Saw a recording of this piece for the STAGE FRIGHTS: The Sequel-ish down in Georgia for the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast. The premise is very engaging, the actors had a blast doing it, and the audience was loving every second of it. Jay Rehak takes the concept of the mysterious carnival man selling something to a whole new level with this comedic horror play. A whole lot of fun which had me and the audience wanting more. Great work!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Rent-A-Stiff

10/26/2025 - Just saw a video recording of this piece when it was presented at the STAGE FRIGHTS: The Sequel-ish (LIVE Performance) in Georgia. Wonderful concept, great characters, and so much wit in this charming and engaging horror comedy. The Grisly Sisters were a stroke of genius. Fun, fun, fun from beginning to end!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Pigeon Winter

10/25/2025 - Wow! This play went in directions I was not expecting at all! What I thought was going to be a sentimental discussion with an aging actress turned out to be a story about crime and murder. I was fully engrossed by the two main characters. Every line of dialogue sizzled and I was hooked from beginning to end. Would love to see this staged and would love to see it as a full-length too. Great work!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Waiting for My Cue- A Monologue

10/25/2025 - This piece speaks to the actor, playwright, director, and theatre lover in all of us. Beautiful, moving, sad and happy all at the same time - and all in one powerful monologue. I'd love to see this performed especially by a community theatre veteran. Bravo!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Mexican Stand-Off

10/25/2025 - Fun and engaging one-minute play! Made me think of Clint Eastwood Westerns, Quintin Tarantino movies, and a wacky telenovela. Funny from the opening descriptions to the last lines. Would love to see staged. Fun, fun, fun!

  • Ryan Kaminski: A Guide to Kidnapping the Senator's Kid on Friday the 13th

10/05/2025 - As a fan of the original Friday the 13th and all things related to werewolves, I was drawn to this piece by the title alone! I love how Cole combines several different genres here in a piece that succeeds on multiple levels. For every moment that scares you in this play, there's a moment that makes you laugh. Perfect for short play festivals during Halloween and the whole year. Very well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Meg

10/04/2025 - Wow! I was completely blown away by this mystery/horror piece. From the scenes with the inspectors, to the flashback scenes with the mysterious Meg, I was hooked from beginning to end. Eerie, disturbing, and twist upon twist in a finale that left me shocked and cold. Meg is an outstanding piece from Rachel Feeny-Williams. I would love to see this on stage, or maybe one day adapted into a feature for the big screen. Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: Little Known Rites of Spring

10/3/2025 - An engaging concept, twists and turns, and a horrifying climax all within ten minutes! Scott Sickles has done an excellent job crafting a disturbing future in this gripping thought-provoking piece. I was hooked from the opening descriptions until the chilling final lines. This needs a production! Well done!

  • Ryan Kaminski: IF THE WALLS COULD TALK - one minute play

09/04/2025 - A great creepy concept, excellent characters, and plenty of thrills and chills...all in a one minute play. I was hooked from beginning to end and found myself wanting more as soon as I finished reading. Julie Brandon has a knack for writing, horror, and theatre!

08/30/2025 - Eerie, gripping, and compelling! From the first lines to the chilling last moments, I was completely engrossed in Debra A. Cole's short piece. The setting is perfect and I would love to see this piece performed (especially around Halloween). Excellent work!
