This is the time of year we all tell creepy stories. But who knew keeping some stories going will free the characters of those stories to get their revenge on the world? Lawing once again sits us down in a dark theatre only to leave us trembling...and thinking.

The subject matter of this play is very difficult and it is framed in a such a way that you feel you are watching a fast-paced marathon dance. You will be exhausted at the end, but enlightened and perhaps even full. Soul-full. Mind-full. Heart-full.

The tensions start right from the start and never stop in this fast paced tango of a play! But in this dance, Maria is definitely leading and just wait til you see how far she can dip Carl! A great role to showcase a powerful woman!

This was not what I expected at all! This is a humorous, Twilight Zone-esque story where the humans are prizes at the fair! The details of the stuffed animal world had me giggling, but to be honest, I was a little creeped out, too. The imagery of the toys at the picnic table will disarm the audience, but once the humans enter all bets are off!

Ha! This is a great piece of social commentary. And a pretty satisfying ending for those of us "so TTLY OVER" social media influencers!

Very spooky short. Would be a very intense short film possibly. Twist I didn't see coming until it was too late!

Such an eerie, poetic tale of ancient horrors. This piece would be a dream for designers and will leave audiences trembling, breath held.
You have never heard a fairy tale like this one and it will haunt you when it is done.

I am never disappointed by the strong female roles John Busser writes. And this one is strong, but still sweet and professional...which makes her just a little bit scarier and way fun to play! This is a great tale of revenge and taking control of one's own life...as well as the lives of those who wronged you. Satisfying!

I forgot this was one of the first Busser plays I had the privilege of performing over Zoom! With my husband! We had such a great time and the visuals on this piece are just hilarious! If you're looking for a slightly edgy comedy to perform over Zoom, this will totally be it! The most talked about play read that evening and AFTER!!!

Angela is back sharing her home with us and she is in rare form! Many of us can relate to the stresses of the holidays and how Angela finds ways to bear with unbearable requests from in-laws. Her clever passive aggressive gifts and consummate control of the situation are aspirational and I raise my glass of wine to her!
