This is a cute little play about a huge misunderstanding. The ending is very funny and a perfect moment for a black out!

I laughed out loud several times while reading this gay sex-romp parodying the slasher films of the 70s and 80s! This play should be produced every October! Undoubtedly sold out performances every night! Just a brilliantly wacky and sexy play!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Holding On

Oh heavens what a heartbreaking piece. A great showcase for a pair of actors. And perhaps the message is, "always listen to your wife"? That's what I will tell my husband, anyway! Lovely and sad.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Joey Age 9

Wow. The ending of this play filled me with hope for Joey. I am so invested and to see how he copes with his father's mercurial nature just shows what a brilliant young man he is and will grow up to be. We are all rooting for Joey.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Joey Age 8

Joey has created a friend to share his pain with and a pattern of numbers and statistics to keep focus when the fear becomes too much to process. Absolutely heart wrenching and engaging.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Joey Age 5

Having read age 6 and 7 I knew I needed to come back for the beginning of the story. Just absolutely terrifying and manipulative. I am so grateful to Joe for sharing this with us and hope this will help young Joey and his imaginary friend cobble together the broken pieces of their youth. And perhaps help others as well.

  • This is as much a play as it is a poem, or a song, or a painting. That is to say, many will view this and depending on what they carry within them to the viewing will determine what they retrieve from this very beautiful faerie tale. A lot of themes about leaving your comfort zone, but not being ashamed to return to it again when you need comfort rather than adventure. I can imagine the design team making this absolutely transcendent. Just lovely and thought provoking.

This is such a fun piece for young performers! So many twists and turns that no one will see coming, not even Agent Smith. The whole first scene is full of great physical comedy moments and fast paced banter. This will be a terrific showcase for your theatre students!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: WEATHERING

It's always nice to find strong characters for older women to play. Rosie and Della are just those characters. Rosie is a rock as Della crashes against her, until she sees that Rosie's stability is just what she needs. Very lovely reveals between these two. I hope they are friends for a very long time!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: DORA, HOSPITAL FLORIST: A MONOLOGUE

I love Dora. She is such a real, strong and compassionate person. But she is no wilting flower, pun intended. This monologue tells a whole lifetime of stories. And not just Dora's stories. The hospital's stories. This is just a beautiful and layered monologue, with plenty of action to keep it moving as well.
