The fact this whole play takes place while waiting in a line says a lot about what we do with our life and our precious little time on earth. Are we wasting it or are we trying to do better one step forward at a time? I was left feeling sad and empty at the end, but not without hope for Chelsea. Sometimes we need to be thrust into the darkness in order to see the light we had. This would be a great play to have a talk back with the audience after, too!

This is such a great way for student performers to laugh about something that is likely very stressful for them right now. The creative way this subject matter is handled and the insightful dialogue will not only be cathartic for the actors, but perhaps somewhat enlightening for viewers as well. And even though Covid and quarantine WILL likely end someday, this play will be a strong representative of what our lives were like at the time. Well done!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Little Mermaid (for ages 5+)

I love that this story is focused on family and imagination. Many children will leave this show inspired to create their own stories after seeing these characters be so clever with the world around them. We need more stories that inspire imagination and focus on friendship like this! I can just see all the clever ways this can be costumed and lit. A terrific TYA play!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Last Supper - Ten Minute Zoom Play

Wow. This play feels so real. The way the couple builds their argument and pokes at each other, all the way to the bitter end, Adams really finds the voice of each character and their weaknesses and shows it all through the Zoom screen of this play. Heartbreakingly real stuff here.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Going Out on a Limb

This whimsical comedy about tooth fairies takes a turn you wouldn't expect! As an actor, I would definitely want to play a "part" in this hilarious short play. Busser is definitely a playwright to watch if you like out there concepts and witty comedy!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Bunnyboy

This play will have students and adults alike laughing in the aisles! What a fun "hop" through the misadventures of poor Bunnyboy! The witty banter and goofy costumes will be fun for actors and designers alike. I think we haven't seen the last of Bunnyboy, though! This could be a great series!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Death Wears a Costume

What a fun one act for student performers and designers! Plenty of roles and costumes and pithy one liners for everyone to shine. Plus a twist the audience won't see coming! Prillaman is "a real wordsmith." And I don't mean that sarcastically! Definitely consider this for your next group's performance!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: This is How you Got Me Naked or My Sexy Fairytale

An absurdist descent into youth and their desire to connect. In poetic textspeak, the characters take us on a journey through an evening of hook-ups and self-discovery. Scene 7 is a delightful, almost operatically staged sex scene. I could almost hear the lines sung from the characters' individual spotlights.
This would be a fun show to "mount"and even more fun to watch.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: All Hearts Matter...Except Yours

This is a terrific PSA for today! If this is still in progress, I think this piece will really be an amazing comic statement on the ridiculous "What about me? Where's mine?" society we live in. I hope someone films this and airs it nationwide!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Interview

A delightfully wacky short play, great for older actors. The word play and fast paced banter will be a terrific showcase for any actor. This would be a fun addition to a night of theatre!
