When meta theatre roasts you good, you get a peanut butter sandwich for your troubles...I'm okay with that. Absolutely bonkers and full of playwright names you might see around the NPX universe. Now I need to find that futuristic goblin play by Prillaman!
  • Kangaroo (Ten Minute)

Wow. This is actually a very important conversation all couples need to consider. What is worth compromising in your relationship. And not just in the bedroom, as we see through the list of Lilly's relationships what she tried for the sake of her partners. But the way KANGAROO is broken down, this is a brilliant analysis of any relationship and what can be or shouldn't be done in the name of love. And every decision is personal, though a challenge. Therapy in a 10 minute play!
  • Trouble in Deadwood

The characters in this interactive murder mystery would be so fun to play! And the audience will love playing along to guess who killed Butler. If you're looking for fun murder mystery scripts for your group that will keep audiences coming back, LeBlanc is the author you are looking for!

This apocalyptic postcard between 2 people is powerful. A true reminder that sometimes things feel bigger than they are until something truly big looms before you and allows you to forget the minor infractions of the past...no matter how much future you have ahead of you.
  • Why the Ocean Not?

I adore this scene for young or young at heart actors! It feels so familiar to my childhood. But the beauty of this scene is how clearly Lane understands the hierarchy of the playground politics they are all mired in and simply refuses to participate. And how confidently Pearl just takes a spot amongst the "mermaids" regardless of their attitude toward the towel Pearl has. It's a show of strength most kids don't know they have and how easily they can assert it with violence or harsh retorts. It's lovely.

When you look behind the goofy, over the top portrayals of hell and its tortures in this play, you can see the deeper message. We should be much further along on this planet when it comes to dealing with the LGBTQ of our world. It is like they are "at some gay second act standstill and the plot won't budge." If only Hercules could arrive and bring us all into a better world where we don't have to "learn to accept (our) fate."
  • The United Plays of America
    29 Mar. 2024
I was excited and impressed to see Claudia Haas had tackled short plays featuring all 50 states + Washington DC. What an amazing collection of work. This is perfect for students to tackle and give many actors a chance to shine while also giving audiences a chance to tour the USA!
  • Rocket Women
    29 Mar. 2024
This is an amazingly layered 10 minute play. The emotions are so powerful, even in these futuristic "colony on Mars" circumstances, the relationship between Macy and Abby is relatable. I found myself leaning in and catching my breath as I watched two people who are in love, realize they can't love each other they way they need. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
  • Stage Fright
    29 Mar. 2024
All theatres are haunted, sure. But are all humans haunted as well? And why? The theatre is a magical place that illuminates truths and in STAGE FRIGHT, through a series of "auditions" we see some extremely dark truths come into the spotlight!

A picture postcard moment of three friends hoping to start a new day with a new future for their friend Moon. Absolutely #FriendGoals and touching.
