A fantasy of modern times - something of a cross between the absurist Ubu Roi and the epic Arturo Ui. Very well crafted... clever... and sure to anger people of, well, a certain political persuasion. But that's the point. Brava!

JUST DESSERT deals with siblings... and family... and tradition... and both life and death. Set during the COVID pandemic, it could easily be appropriate for any time. A simple play, and a lovely play. Recommended.

The problems of drug addiction, prostitution, and inequality are all considered in this tight, simple, yet honest work. The situation, dialogue, and characterizations in the play are spot on. Give this play a look. You'll be glad you did. Recommended.

A wonderfully gentle short - about parenting and love and caring - in the guise of a first fishing trip. I love the fact that this simple play - a play without conflict mind you! - holds our interest from beginning to end. Recommended!

A touching short play about the horrors of war - specifically World War II... in the Ukraine... for those of Jewish descent. Simple in its direct approach, this play none the less has the ability to move audiences. Two solid roles for a female and young male. Recommended!

A joyous two-hander (an attendant speaks the first line of the play and is gone forever) that provides wonderful roles for actors - one male, one female - of "a certain age." Frank and Ruby may no longer be young, but nothing stops them from being young at heart. Highly Recommended!

Jacquelin Floyd-Priskorn's most entertaining play offers three senior female actors fine roles to play. Set in an assisted living facility, the women gossip while awaiting the arrival of their fourth for cards... an arrival that, sadly, never comes. Recommended!

A most interesting consideration of conformity and political correctness. This two-hander presents questions we today need to answer, albeit in a safe and most pleasant manner. Give this play a look. Recommended!

Elisabeth Giffin Speckman has written a most intriguing two-handed play that provides younger teen age female actors two fine roles. It's about friendship... and not... nails... and not... going to parties... and not. You'll just have to read it for yourself! (And I urge you to do so!)
