  • John Kelly: "Remembrance"

A true "slice of life" - about a life lost, and the affect that such loss can have upon family. "Remembrance" provides us a momentary glimpse into the life of the Ryans, Jean and Jim, after the passing of their father, the family patriarch. Jim is to deliver his Papa's eulogy - his remembrance - at a wake that evening, but discovers he can find no words appropriate for the moment. Wonderfully written and truly moving, with strong character roles for both actors. Highly recommended!

Their lives aren't changed from their meeting, but one feels that they just might be, sometime soon. A wonderful two-hander with fine roles for two good actresses. Brava!
