  • All of the Napkins are Wet (a monologue) (Playing on the Periphery #1)
    14 May. 2020
An absolute gem of a piece to read
It had me laughing so loudly that I almost woke up my own twin toddlers.
I think we'd all love to ditch our skirts and go looking for tadpoles in the creek.
    Read this now.
  • ANAGRAM, a three-minute comedy play
    14 May. 2020
Any piece of writing that is staged 'Inside the Limitations of Language, and Love' has my vote from the off.
This is a bright and witty piece. A joy for actors to tackle. I'd love to do it.
  • Circumnavigation
    14 May. 2020
A goldfish bowl -a place or situation lacking privacy.
Another brilliant animal themed monologue from O'Grady. This clever short examines much more than how we treat our domestic pets. I could almost hear the bubbles. Superb.

  • Cage
    14 May. 2020
Caged is a sharply crafted piece. Very apt under these surreal lock down conditions as we all come to terms with our own house arrest.
Dark and surprisingly comic. A perfect monologue to entertain and disturb. Loved it.
  • DARMA'S KARMA
    2 May. 2020
This excellent monologue takes place against a Solstice celebrattion, where the sun comes to a standstill.
Standing still is something you could never accuse the mercurial Lermond of.
She's chalked up yet another mini classic.

    Witty, comic and totally original.

  • Do Not Bend
    1 May. 2020
A sharp, hilarious short sketch with a superb twist.
Actors with comic timing will have loads of fun with this.
Those who don't, will enjoy it anyway.
  • I'm On A Train (a one minute play)
    30 Apr. 2020
Levine's 'I'm On a Train' may be a short piece of theatre, but it completely resonated and stayed with me for ages after reading it. I imagined myself taking this journey with a very special somebody who is sadly no longer around anymore.
A thoughtful and incredibly effective two-hander.
  • What To Do About It (#AfterTheBans)
    30 Apr. 2020
There is not enough space to start racking up the merits of this ground breaking piece of theatre.
I have had the pleasure of witnessing a live audience collectively squirm, gasp and then laugh all in the same breath. It was showcased at The Rum Diaries Presents performance night as part of an all female writing event in Glasgow Scotland.
    Dark, comic and utterly relevant.
  • The Lesson [a 1-minute play]
    30 Apr. 2020
Martin has created a touching and beautiful two hander.
The Lesson is a perfect example of how to write a strong
    a one minute piece.
    Please spread the word.

  • Welcome to Fourbucks
    30 Apr. 2020
Welcome to Fourbucks is a perfect snapshot of pretentious baristas and the complex coffee culture.
Short and sweet and ready to go.
