  • Jack Levine: The Blue One

JAMES PERRY’s “The Blue One” is a fun short piece, which raises the question: What is the true worth of a painting? In reality, it depends on what a buyer is willing to pay. But, what attributes does a buyer use to determine the paintings worth? Nice work!

  • Jack Levine: 18,936 Steps (A Monologue)

RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS, once again, delivers a powerful, poignant, pensive monologue. I strongly recommend “18,936 Steps”. We are concerned, then relieved, then angry, then grateful, while we cope with a situation that happens in real life. I love the realism, and I love the beauty of all the emotions that will come through when this monologue is performed onstage. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: SWEET DREAMS

JULIE BRANDON’s play, “Sweet Dreams”, is a fun piece of twists and turns, mixed with humor, and delivered in a most unexpected way. I enjoyed it and would like to watch it performed onstage. Nice work!

  • Jack Levine: A Quiet Life

BRIAN CERN’s ten-minute play, “Quiet Life”, is a gem. This play is very tense, powerful, and so well-conceived. It’s perhaps one of the best short, dramatic plays I have read. I highly recommend it and really hope I will someday be in the audience to experience it performed.

  • Jack Levine: (Not) Letting Go (Ten Minute)

PAUL DONNELLY’s “(Not) Letting Go” is beautifully done. A parent needs to love their child fully, which includes teaching their child how to develop skills to succeed on their own. A parent must nurture a child to gain confidence, take on responsibilities, and become a self sustaining adult. What if the parent can’t let go? I highly recommend this play!

  • Jack Levine: Half

JOHN BUSSER always delights with his fantastic imagination, beautifully written dialogue, and a great sense of humor. “HALF” is a twisty dark comedy, one in which you will find very entertaining. I loved it!

  • Jack Levine: Talking Points

STEVEN HAYET takes us to a Thanksgiving Dinner in which Mike has something important to say. With a bit of flair, you can almost hear a drumroll as he tells his family he’s important news. The short play is filled with humor, pathos, and unexpected twists. I recommend “Talking Points”. It will certainly be a crowd pleaser.

  • Jack Levine: THE LIBRARY

JONNY BOLDUC certainly has the creative mind and the talent to write a fun, fast moving, fantastical play. I enjoyed the “THE LIBRARY” and highly recommend it. I laughed as the play brought out questionable activities, provided an interesting take, and left this reader fascinated, challenged, and enthusiastic about thinking about a particular way of life and its impact on society.

  • Jack Levine: The Backyard Stonehenge Chronicles (One Act Version)

Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn’s play is centered on the beauty and hurt that can be found from relationships. A stone circle, as a replication of Stonehenge, transforms into a ‘powerful force’ that brings out the “truth, fears, and hopefully some understanding”, as described in the playwright’s synopsis of her play. There are many layers in this play. I loved reading it, and I am sure audiences will find this play well-worth their while. Bravo!
