  • Christopher Plumridge: THIS COW AND THAT TROMBONE

I rejoice knowing that finally, I'm not the only playwright to pen a daft play about cows in a field! Silly yes, and it would look hilarious, but there's more to this play, there's hope, dreams, desire and music. OK, so maybe cows can never get there hooves around a trombone, but there's still sweet music to be made in this herd!
    Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Fading Light, Enduring Love

Wow, Could you cram in anymore emotion into just a few lines Neil? This is beautiful, sad, atmospheric and devastating. Then there comes the final impactful stage direction, which will hit so very hard.
    Excellent.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Coming Clean (A 10 minute play)

Ha! This is a very dirty, yet perfectly clean play. This had me laughing throughout, especially at the bumbled lines and unintentional innuendos from Ted.
I admit I saw the twist coming, but that's what makes this play so funny to watch unfold.
    Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Unfrozen (A Monologue)

There's so much love here between human and sock, no, I've never written that before... This is such a unique monologue, set sometime in the future, one assumes, as this human thaws out in a Cyronics Institute recovery room.
So much sadness and unclear past bleeds out of this piece, but it's the beauty and tenderness between them that wins over.
    Beautiful!

  • Christopher Plumridge: An Endangered Species

Now this is how to write a one minute play!
I should have paid more attention to the title, for the twist in this really took me by surprise. This is one princess you don't want to mess with!
    Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Rekindling

If only I was allowed to study this play at school, instead of Kafka's Metamorphosis!
This is a great one minute play which really tests love, in the most extreme way. There's even time for a twist and a perfect final line.
    Love it.

  • Christopher Plumridge: For a Limited Time Only (The Bread Play)

Never since Homer Simpson went to hell and was force fed donuts off a conveyor belt, has anyone been made to eat so much...so much...bread!

This is an incredibly dark and funny play, the like of which only Prillaman could devise! Treat yourself by listening to Gather by the Ghost Light's excellent audio production.

I really will avoid an unlimited offer in the future, especially if Daniel is the server!

I've never laughed so much during a horror before! Superb!

  • Christopher Plumridge: meat cute

Wow! This play has blown me away, not just for the difficult subject, it's written so beautifully.
A 'business' arrangement slowly turns into a tender moment between two lost and lonely women.
Aly is an exceptional writer, and here she has taken on an awkward, dark subject and given us such a unique, stunning and in a strange way, a very heartwarming play.
Produce this play and challenge your audience!

  • Christopher Plumridge: She said YES: A Trilogy

I love the way this play is written, for here the playwright has given us three separate monologues AND the option to have all three played out together. Either way would be powerful, for Debra has penned a piece which starts light, but grows slowly darker as we find out the truth.
    Very good!

  • Christopher Plumridge: I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that)

You just know it's going to lead to trouble when four teenagers meet at night in a graveyard, and yes they stupidly try to summon the dead. In this case the dead in question are a pair of murderers. Will these kids ever learn?
But as with Rachel, it's never so cliche or clear cut as that....
    Great!
