  • Christopher Plumridge: The Ruler Of The World (10-minute play)

What a deliciously evil, yet subtle Manager excuse me, 'Ruler of the World' Mr Bancroft is, a fantastic character. And dutiful Chen serves him loyally.
Both characters would provide great riles for their actors and I would lovebto see this staged.
Although I do believe Mr Bancroft will get what's coming to him eventually!
    Unique and brilliant!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Doomscrolling

Ha, I love this demons attitude as he aptly embark on yet another doom scroll through Facebook, his rant is priceless. Then along comes an annoying salesman who fully gets the brunt of this prince of darkness' anger.
    Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: IOU: a one minute play

If there's ever a lesson NOT to leave an IOU, this short play is it. In just a few lines it hits brutally to the point. Eeek!

  • Christopher Plumridge: SINGLE WOMAN IN ALABAMA: A MONOLOGUE

What I have come to learn about Asher is he can create a wonderfully deep and complex character within just a few opening sentences. I fully intend to read more of his work in order to learn key skills from the master of monologues.
This single woman in Alabama is a key example, she has so much to say in just one speed dating evening, that even the organisers have packed up and she's all alone!
    Just brilliant!

  • Christopher Plumridge: SALES ASSOCIATE FROM PAT STEVITZ FURNITURE EMPORIUM: A COMMERCIAL: A MONOLOGUE

Ha! This is one funny, long rant of a sales pitch in a somewhat dodgy furniture store! What makes this all the funnier is that Asher gives his protagonist only a few VERY long sentences to get their honesty across.
I'd lovebto see this performed by an actor with great timing who knows how to deliver a piece without hardly taking a break for air!
    Great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Reap the Whirlwind

The gathering storm in this excellent short two hander is a perfect metaphor for the stormy relationship we are witness to between father and son. So much is said, so many painful memories, all caught up in the father's Alzheimers and the real gathering tornado threatening all they have left.
    Truly gripping excellent work!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Teleporter Present!

For someone who would love to have the ability to teleport (making sure there are no flies present, obviously) I found this monologue both hilarious and perfectly fast paced!
It must be fun yes, but with any super power there come problems, coming and going in
a split second, but for now I simply must

  • Christopher Plumridge: Weirdos And Don'ts (3-minute play)

This is a clever short play, where so little is said but so much story is delivered.
The manager, well, two managers, plays the antagonist to both the server and boxer, and when the two meet we see their pain and struggle.
As with many very short plays, I'm always wanting more.... so more please Agnes!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Better Call Shoenstein

When two great playwrights collide, I mean collaborate, you know your in for a great read.
Norkin and Busser take us on a weird and wonderful time fracture of an adventure between now and ancient Rome, taking in famous historic characters along with characters who have appeared in these two gentlemen plays.
The result? One hilarious short play full of jokes which will have you giggling like a loon, well until The Karen comes along!
    Brilliantly funny, bravo chaps!
