  • Christopher Plumridge: Hold My Hand (a one-minute play)

Whoa! So many questions left open in one short play, questions Derek will have a tough time answering I'm sure!
There's lots that can be done with this play too, several options to who '?' can be...
    Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: 101 CLICHES

Ha! Jack has really "Knocked it out of the park" with this one! Are there really 101 cliches in this? It feels like it, but let's not "count sheep." A clever, brilliantly executed experiment where you even buy into both characters!

Of course, the real challenge for actors in this play is to play it straight, good luck!

    Anyone for boardroom bingo?

  • Christopher Plumridge: Seven -twelve (a monologue)

In one short page, Marilyn gives us a devastating take on a cancer diagnosis, unique. Yet her protagonist is upbeat in their real day in London, (as it felt to be located). For the rest of life still rumbles on, even if for some they are numbered.
    A clever, striking monologue.

  • Christopher Plumridge: SUNSETS (a monologue)

In just one page, such depth of story unfolds which will leave the reader, or watcher of this monologue quite breathless. This such a profound short piece, beautiful and moving, with a surprise you will not see coming.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Make it quick: A One-Minute Play

Wow, the tension is high and intense from the offset and throughout! Just reading this brutally short play I felt as if I was one of them, getting my best running shoes on and preparing for a night of survival.
    Brilliant!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Telebomb

This is a fun Zoom short, it's slick, direct, relevant and best of all is the final line! I'm coming to realise that Kate is a master in tying up short stories in style!

  • Christopher Plumridge: True Love

Ha, I love this! It would be hilarious if it couldn't actually happen, but this day and age it probably can!
It's a fun short, with a brilliant, naughty ending!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Rusty Old Wrench

Old tools are precious, even if they are s rusty and cranky as their owner, they're difficult to let go of.
This play is a touching story, of someone wanting to do good but, at first anyway, getting it all wrong.
I love the formatting too, it gives the actors free reign to lead it how they wish.
    Nice!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Morning Ever After

I have often marveled in disbelief at the absurdity of 'the glass slipper/search for the lady from last night' scenario in Cinderella, but that's fairy-tales for you. Emily brings us a hilarious twist in this tale, Cheryl's immediate reaction to her Prince Charming's' visit is spot on and she naturally gives him a hard time of it.
    Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Kill Them With Kindness

I definitely want to see this short, hilarious play staged! Mainly to watch the nurse 'entertain' poor Mr Brown! There's never a good way to break some bad news, but there is surely a fun way, and here it is Kates great short play!

The final line/stage direction is perfect!
