Kim E. Ruyle masterfully captures the ebb and flow of an unexpected kindling of relationship with raw intense passion and intimacy. The play progression simply floored me, as Ruyle intelligently weaves strong emotional beats within the dialogue allowing for each moment to naturally play out and connecting us on a personal level with both Maeve and Rob. The emotional journey that the audience experiences will be sure to stick with them long after the performance is over. This is an extraordinary piece of theatre.

Love happens when you least expect it. Jack Levine's FLOATING BUBBLES is a sweet and heartful romantic comedy that gives us Dick and Jane, two uniquely fun characters who develop a conversation that is rich in witty humor and a sprinkling of heart. This is a lovely romantic comedy that any two actors would relish being in!

Neil Radtke is a master of suspense. THE ENVELOPE is crafted with such intelligence and fluidity that will keep you completely invested. Radtke expertly paces the play, as he grabs our attention from the very beginning and never lets us go. This is a compelling and dramatically rich play that deserves an audience.

Even though the play is five minutes, Amber R. Dickinson's A PERFECT FIT has such a strong natural flow that allows for the emotional beats to hit with ease and authenticity. There are beautifully drawn characters here full of colors that any set of two actors would be honored to explore and audiences to enjoy. This play is "a perfect fit" for any short play festival!

Anastasia Wild's CREMAINS TO BE SEEN is compelling, humorous, and surprisingly moving. Wild is able to capture the essence of grief so vividly which offers wonderful contrast from the unique sense of humor. This is a wonderfully crafted play with plenty of heart and laughs.

This is a type of play that many playwrights attempt to write, but many fall short. However, that is far from the case with David Rigano’s masterful romantic dramedy. The intimacy that Rigano creates between Orli and Hank is beautifully drawn and realized. Rigano crafts an authenticity that makes you not only care, but will make you see into your own relationships. I commend Rigano for taking risks and writing a play regarding a complicated relationship with heart and soul. This is a fantastic two hander for two actors with great range.

CK Brestman expertly crafts a comedic monologue with a stereotypical Karen as the protagonist. I absolutely love how Brestman structures the monologue. The story beats are well thought out and layered for some nice reveals later in the piece. Every nuance and intricacy we see in stereotypical Karen’s are woven into this story with sharp humor and wit. Great fun!

Dana Hall's REFRACTED LIGHT is a complex gut-wrenching story that pulls you in and never lets go. Each character is well drawn, as we see how their past implicates their present, but never defines them. There is an emotional weight that is beautifully displayed and adds to the complicated and difficult journey that these characters will face both alone and together. REFRACTED LIGHT has the power of O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night and the heart of Next to Normal. A gripping piece of theatre!

Robert Weibezahl has a skill to make a comedy unsettling and uncomfortable. The longer I read, the more uncomfortable I got and that’s what makes this piece so unique and fascinating. I really liked how Weibezahl layers the action and each reveal is not spoiled, they are all naturally layered which gives us a fantastic ending.

I absolutely loved this! The dynamic between Mark and the therapist is so fun and fresh. I love the cutting back and forth and the occasional juxtaposition of baseball and the therapy sessions. This is a unique short comedy that actors and directors can have so much fun with!
