  • Brenton Kniess: Love Sucks

The vampire genre can be generic and recycled, but John Mabey is able to craft a dark comedy that is fresh, funny, and smart. There are so many great layers and a beautiful sense of juxtaposition about how why we choose to be the relationships we are in. LOVE SUCKS is delicious good time!

  • Brenton Kniess: Glory Days

This is a beautifully crafted short play with heart, honesty, and humor. This play captures the essence of nostalgia and the spirit of the past. Even if memories are painful, the past molds us into who we are and who we hope to be. We adapt, but our heart will long for the fond memories of the past.

  • Brenton Kniess: Gold Paint

Morey Norkin hits gold with GOLD PAINT! The nature of the play is quite prophetic and heavy, but it's the approach that Norkin takes that makes this play a true gem. This is a wonderful play for a small ensemble of actors with dynamic range. Great dialogue, even greater characters, and a truly fascinating premise!

Leah Plante-Wiener’s PROCESS PLAY is original, funny, real (too real) and smart. The dialogue has a wonderful flow that is rapid fire but the audience will never miss a beat of the action. This is a must read for playwrights and theatre makers everywhere!

“WOW!” Is what I exclaimed when I finished reading this! The comedy is so irreverent and Radtke takes those moments to let you laugh even though it might seem uncomfortable, that’s the whole point and what makes this piece a gem! I loved the way the play unfolds. The reveals are very nicely developed and executed. Would LOVE to this staged!
