  • Brenton Kniess: During/After

This harrowing story by Wendy Vogel is bold, emotionally charged, and deeply painful. The connection these men have is honest and extremely captivating. This is a thought provoking play that will stick with you. The characters are well developed and guide the play in unexpected ways that add to the strategic balance of heart and the human spirit. Beautifully written.

  • Brenton Kniess: Special Extra Treatment

I hope Greg doesn't mind that when I describe my looks I'll say I'm "attractive in a CW network sort of way". What a downright funny piece! It's so random and unique, but that's what makes it fun! I love the meta approach to this play, it makes it extra charming and so engaging. Would LOVE to see this staged!

Ryan Kaminski is able to accomplish so much in 10 minutes with The Deal. This play has a wonderful balance of comedy, dramatic tension, and mystery. There's this underlying sense of dread that adds to the atmosphere which is done spectacularly. A fantastic dramatic piece of theatre!

What a play. The nuances that Joe Swenson carries throughout this play is touching. This play has this tranquility that resonates with the reader on another level. I love the structure of the piece and the reveal is just gutting, but is the perfect end to this marvelously beautiful piece.

  • Brenton Kniess: 11:11

James Perry writes a time travel story that was created in a way that I’ve never witnessed before. It’s a clever take on the genre which offers wonderful layers of storytelling that pull the audience in and will keep them there. The characters are fun and engaging which makes the dynamic between the two of them so charming. The overall story is compelling which allows Perry to hone in on the heart of the piece. A wonderfully wild and inspiring play!

  • Brenton Kniess: It's Not Blood

There’s an underlying sense of intensity that this piece has that connects so vividly with the poignant nature of the circumstances these characters face. Ruyle captures the human spirit so eloquently yet so boldly. This is a play that cuts deep emotionally. The way Ruyle crafts the story makes it so the audience connects to it as if they are part of this family. A beautiful piece of theatre.
