A spooky autobiographical slice of life from Cole Hunter Dzubak. The opening scene is captivating as the young family with two adorable children move into their new home. But night falls, young Cole awakens, and the tension mounts! Is this the product of a child’s imagination or something else? Directors and actors could really go to town with this one! Hopefully a town near you!

A biting satire that shows just how far the far right could go. Philip Middleton Williams takes aim at the current Florida governor and the state’s un-democratic legislation and scores a bullseye! The clandestine meetings provide humor to an otherwise sadly prophetic tale. This is a great play for high schools across the state… make that country!

What starts out as a comic encounter in a graveyard turns dark as the mysterious young woman worries over the imminent arrival of a dangerous character. Fisher, a cop, wants to get her to safety, not realizing who or what she really is. Halloween will be here before you know it, and George Sapio should have more than a ghost of a chance with this fun thriller!

Beautifully written with heart, deep understanding of relationships, and even humor. IT’LL BE FINE takes us on a journey back and forth in time exploring how individuals deal with loss and grief differently and how that can impact relationships. Molly Harrington Canu does an excellent job of using the past to foreshadow what feels like the inevitable present for these well drawn characters. A terrific read, this would be outstanding on stage!

What a great premise. I love how these two dense thieves really get into the couples therapy session! I’m not very familiar with British slang, and there’s a lot in this play. But I think from the context you can still tell it’s hilarious. A great opportunity for comic actors to really play off each other and for audiences to laugh themselves silly!

This is a moving story about loss, grief, and moving forward. And yet, as you might expect with puppets, there are some genuinely laugh out loud moments. Brenton Kniess shows us that help can come from the most unexpected places if only we’re open to it. Alice Josephs does a terrific job of showing how the idealism of one generation can be supplanted by the extreme self interest of the next. Additionally, FOR THE MASSES speaks to the negative impact politics can have on art, a very timely topic. Well thought out, this play will give audiences a lot to talk about. Hope they get the chance!

I know from sunburns, but the comic burn that Tom delivers to Marcie is priceless! Physical comedy and great wit all in a minute!

Celebrity deaths, especially of those whose work or contributions are most well-known to us, can be quite shocking. There is a shared grief among many with no personal connection to each other or the deceased. DC Cathro perfectly captures these feelings in this impactful reminiscence between a father and son. Excellent!
