  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: By The Sword

Moore writes a work that is so laugh-out-loud funny that when the metaphor hits, it is sharp and sudden like a sword to the heart. Endlessly clever and for a play about a bunch of medieval men, it is incredibly relevant. Bravo!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: Roots Deep, Trunk Wide (Bascom & Isaac #2)

A phenomenal two-hander that mines so much emotional depth out of its ten minute runtime. I felt so seen by the incredible ADHD representation. Sometimes the intimacy we need is all in the communication - and I just love the way these two communicate. Bravo, Scott!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: Time's Up, Pencils Down

I love, love, love a time travel play and there certainly aren't enough of them! But Kyle Walker's two hander here is more than a sci-fi romp - it explores some profound questions of humanity, philosophy, and compassion. And the ending just knocks it out of the park... pun intended! Nice work!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: Fighting Hands

This ten minute drama will hit hard for anyone familiar with the hard-to-navigate relationship between adult child and troubled, absent parent. The complexities of these two characters are so well penned and just damn real. Incredible work.

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: CHIMNEY MONSTER

A new adorable Christmas story to warm the heart! With a family-friendly, yet universal message - this would be perfect for any holiday theatre festival! Ash might've just replaced Frosty as my favorite Christmas mascot. Well done!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: A Quiet Life

So much tension packed into this play of a young couple hiding out in a barn... the ending stabs sharp, like a knife to the gut, and twists and twists and twists. Very well-written work that unfortunately hits so hard in the current political climate.

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: This Is Not the Cotswolds and You’re Not Cameron Diaz

Somebody once told me that every good comedy is based on a misunderstanding - and Williams does a brilliant job of showcasing that in this short where husbands Tom and Jerry just can't seem to get on the same page! A clever love letter to the old Abbot and Costello routines, where the jokes just keep coming! Great work!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer and Liked It

I'd never considered the reindeer's perspective in "Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer" before, and now I can't believe I hadn't! Despite their many clever jokes/references to the Public Domain, Braverman's take on this story is incredibly original. Well done!

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: Replacement Claus

A hilarious interrogation of the true meaning of Christmas, by way of Jesus auditioning to be the next Santa Claus. Dan West has such an eye for sharp, punchy comedic dialogue that is just nonstop! Every holiday theatre festival should produce this play.

  • Marshall Logan Gibbs: The Believers Market

Wow, in just ten pages, this play packs a tremendous punch when the twist hits and the title comes into play. I’ve always found small towns in the winter unnerving and the one in this play is no exception - Nice work!
