  • Relationships are hard, especially when partners start to have different priorities or values. Amber and Felix are at that moment and it's entertaining to watch them navigate that realization. With the added twist of the supernatural, this is fun look at how people move forward and what is reasonable to expect from a significant other.

  • "Night Vision" is a great look at relationships - both current and past, how we process them when they end and what lingers beyond that. Absolutely loved the use of the Raccoon Menace that allows Auden to process and move on.

  • A poignant play set against the backdrop of winter solstice. The relationship between the characters balances that easy, tense, annoyance of sisterhood, especially sisters brought together for a purpose. Would be wonderful in a holiday festival.

  • This short piece leaves quite a lot to the imagination - what is the motivation? What is the treasure or prize or evidence being sought? But does any of that matter when one is truly determined to get a result? A grisly, intriguing horror short where you can decide which character ultimately comes out … ahead.

  • If you're a fan of the classics, this is the play for you. A fun, farcical look at relationships, power, and society with references to add to the wit. Just be sure to keep your Greek and Romans gods straight.

  • Dawn Branch: Oh, No! I Flew Too Close to the Sun!

A wonderfully dark short play that covers the many emotions of an actor before their debut. You have to appreciate when they commit so fully to a role, even if they aren't aware of it. Delightful.

  • Dawn Branch: Have Gun, Won't Travel

An interesting twist on the classic "looking for a hero" genre with themes that will resonate with a contemporary audience. I'm unfamiliar with the original Paladin but that wasn't a barrier in enjoying this play, as the characters remind us to think outside the box when it comes to problems needing solutions. A timeless lesson.

  • Dawn Branch: Knickknacks and Whatnots

A delightful farcical take on a tale as old as time. If you've ever wondered what happened right after the curse took effect and how the newly-minted household items reacted, this is the play for you. A joyful read that would be great for any audience.

  • Dawn Branch: Ballad: A Two Character Play

A beautiful, theatrical and moving look at the relationship between a father-in-law and his son as it spans the decades of their lives. Interweaving a separately told narrative, the juxtaposition between the story of these two men and the tale being told create strong moments for an audience to think on and remember.

  • Dawn Branch: Three Can Keep a Secret

A great choose-your-own-adventure murder comedy. I was lucky enough to see this twice during the recent Fringe festival and experience two different endings and it is extremely well-done. The story is tight, even where it diverges, and each ending is satisfying. You might regret your choices, but you won't regret seeing this play.
