  • The Board

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-39-the-board/). A tale about the old teaching the new. What I love most about this piece is Mansfield's way with dialogue and how he presented a tough but thoughtful lesson in the story while maintaining a mutual respect between the vets and the young soldier. A fantastic and tidy story!
  • You've Reached Justin
    20 Dec. 2022
I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-37-youve-reached-justin/). This is a masterfully written work by Christian St. Croix. Storytelling through voice mails is such a creative and fresh take on the theatre experience. A thrilling sci-fi horror story with a romantic ending! Highly recommended for theatres wanting to perform something original and unique!

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-36-off-center/). A heart-tugging story with comedic moments peppered in. Jacquelyn gives us the character Melody to help remind us all to never let our passion subside, but to be creative and do our damn art! This is a wonderfully written piece and also a great opportunity for an older actress.
  • A Perfect Two

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-35-a-perfect-two/). Newsham has written such a fun and delightful play. This one is full of laughs and the humor continues all the way til the end. Being perfect for each other doesn't always mean your a 10! Highly recommended for theatres looking for short comedies!
  • A Benevolent Alliance of Mourners
    1 Sep. 2022
I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-34-a-benevolent-alliance-of-mourners/). This is a beautiful play about two strangers who find each other when they need each other most. Ken builds a relationship between these two rather quickly, but keeps the dialogue believable and honest. And he connects the characters with little revelations along the way leading to a heartfelt ending. Everyone needs their whole picture person.
  • WEDDING BELL BLUES

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-33-wedding-bell-blues). I've learned from reading Marj's works that she is great at establishing relationships between characters through subtext. Even though things get little tense between the mother and daughter in this play, you can always feel that the love is still there. A great comedy with an ending that will touch your heart!
  • A Wicked Slice
    10 Aug. 2022
I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-32-a-wicked-slice/). John Busser has a talent for dark humor and it's absolutely hilarious how he crafted this play. The dialogue between the golfing trio when they encounter the murder scene is so much fun as they nonchalantly try to figure out how to ask to play through rather than having much concern for the victim. A great piece of work for theatres out there looking to produce a short dark comedy!
  • An Awkward Conversation in the Shadow of Mount Moriah
    16 Jun. 2022
I produced an audio version of this play on the GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT radio theater podcast. Bavoso has brilliantly captured what the awkward conversation between Abraham and Isaac would've been like on their 3-day walk home from Mount Moriah in his own comedic way. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments as well as touching fatherly moments blended in. Very well done, Mr. Bavoso!
  • Crossover Fiction
    8 Jun. 2022
I produced an audio version of this play on the GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT radio theater podcast. Greg Lam has put together an adventurous play with a delightful twist. As Josie Moon meets her creator, the story takes a shift in tone. Makes you wonder... who is the true villain of the story!? Clever concept with great writing! Would love to see a staged version of this play!
  • Closing Doors
    17 May. 2022
I produced an audio version of this play on the GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT radio theater podcast. You become immediately invested in this well-crafted play by John Minigan right from the beginning and he maintains the conflict all the way to the end. Both the teacher and the vice principal state their positions well, and then the low blows come into play that challenges their friendship. A great tidy piece for any theatre looking for a topical short play!
