  • Jonathan Cook: Xiernon from Glixtar

I produced an audio play version of this script on the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast (https://www.gatherbytheghostlight.com/ep-47-xiernon-from-glixtar-by-mar…). Maripat Allen has skillfully written a fun little sci-fi story here. Its comedy from beginning to end and Maripat does a great job of giving each character their own voice and motives. A hilarious 10-minute script for any theatre out there looking for short comedic sci-fi plays!

  • Jonathan Cook: Recess

I produced an audio play version of this script on the podcast Gather by the Ghost Light (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-46-recess-by-kara-…). Kara has such a charming way with words and the playful innocence of the two characters as children will tug on your heart. But what I love the most is that Kara also give us flash forward moments that fill us in on the journey that lies ahead for these characters. Love love love! Perfect play for any short play fest!

  • Jonathan Cook: Motetz Dam

I produced an audio play version of this script on the GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT podcast (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-13-motetz-dam/). Devon has crafted a delightful story with MOTETZ DAM, putting her own unique twists on the vampire mythos. In a tidy 10 minutes, we see the beginning spark of Jack and Lynn's heartwarming relationship, while also seeing the aftermath of Jack's tragic past relationship. A comedic and fun play that I'd love to see on the stage one day!

  • Jonathan Cook: The Shelf on the Elf: A Brick Fistula Mystery

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-44-the-shelf-on-th…). Busser has crafted a very comedic film-noir holiday tale and I was hooked from page one when I first read it. And I love how he cleverly uses Fistula's secretary as segues between scenes as she types out the case file of what's happening. Great Christmas themed play for any theatre looking for something more adult friendly during the holiday season!

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-43-homo-for-christ…). This play is absolutely hilarious! Bavoso manages to give us a laugh line with every other sentence as this family remains in denial that their daughter has a girlfriend. While it may not be a family friendly script, this is a perfect holiday play for theatres out there that cater to mature audiences!

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-40-the-bear-part-1…). While stories of Jewish persecution can often times seem similar to each other, Plumridge has taken an original and new approach to this theme by writing it from a Teddy bear's perspective. A fantastic monologue that takes you on a roller coaster of a journey! And it turns out that this monologue is only the beginning of a series and I can't wait to see where the Bear goes next!

  • Jonathan Cook: The Board

I produced an audio play version of this script on the radio theater podcast GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT (https://www.podpage.com/gather-by-the-ghost-light/ep-39-the-board/). A tale about the old teaching the new. What I love most about this piece is Mansfield's way with dialogue and how he presented a tough but thoughtful lesson in the story while maintaining a mutual respect between the vets and the young soldier. A fantastic and tidy story!
