Totally charming 10-minute rom com. I can already picture the epilogue where Rach always insists on bringing her own wine to Ruthie & Naomi's for Shabbos because they only ever have Manischewitz.

Hilarious! I could immediately hear the dialogue in the iconic tone/cadence from the old TV specials. Not to mention how much fun this would be to work on as a costume designer.

This play is such a great example of the capacity of theatre to explore time & age & experience as dimensions of a human life. So much for 3 actors to explore playing 1 character.

Take 20 minutes out of your day & listen to the podcast version of this play, followed by the interview with the cast & playwright. As the podcast host says, "It does what theatre is supposed to do."

This is such a well-rendered little moment in time. The lens of blended holiday traditions is a great way to look at two people who have old & intimate knowledge of each other, & very significant shared commitments & background, but who also are now living very different lives & must continue to navigate the things that made their former relationship untenable. A lot for 2 actors to work with in a short script.

This is great, I really felt like I saw a glimpse into years of this couple’s relationship — & their future — in this short scene.

What a character! I was so invested in Mary’s current struggle, & so interested in her past.

Lots of emotional range in a short piece. Could be great for an audition.

Devastating. Such a wise storytelling choice to nestle environmental destruction & corporate negligence within a complex human love story.

This writer really knows their audience, lol. 5 stars, very relatable!
