  • James Binz: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Oooof! Who is this girl? That is rudeness beyond measure. No one can possibly be that crass! Michele Clarke has created a truly despicable character.

  • James Binz: HERITAGE RANCH

Some truly wonderful funny business here. The psychic potato and the Mai Tai umbrella join the weird sisters in a random field in Nova Scotia to discover a truth beyond all truth. Fast and funny dialogue abounds and the story gets weirder and funnier with each line. Comedy gold!

  • James Binz: THE FIGHTING ONIONS (10-minute play)

There has to be a better name for the team, right? Maybe not. Totally high school!

  • James Binz: Shakespeare Lives! (a ten minute play)

Comedy writing and Shakespearean verse stirred together in a Mark Harvey Levine stew! Another terrific last line!

  • James Binz: This Is Crazy

Goodness! A play with all the Subject Matter Keywords presented in the most hilarious possible way! Fun and fast and delicious. The dialogue is quick and natural in spite of the surreal setting. I loved the story line - Deb Hiett creates a slice of non reality that smacks of truth and the glory of the quantum world. Terrific stuff!

  • James Binz: PUSH PULL

I always enjoy a good Michele Clarke piece. Push Pull has dramatic tension in spades. Certainly showing that moving from an online relationship to IRL is difficult and challenging. One of the all time great closing lines ever. Brava!

  • James Binz: A Very Special Hanukkah Special (a ten minute play)

Oh boy. Mark Harvey Levine has the magic touch. This piece would be hilarious in any holiday show. The references and jokes are divinely inspired. Mark has rolled a "nun" for sure! Delightful.

  • James Binz: The Grape Nerds Reunion (10 Minute Play)

What exceptionally fascinating characters! Alli Hartley-Kong has created a two handed, pot boiler, slice of life with all the elements of good theater in place. A great read and this would be a terrific short piece in a festival. Brava

  • James Binz: A Conversation Between Deer and Headlights

If I hadn't read the Subject Matter Keywords - I might have missed the point. Great idea.
