Finally got to read this play, which I've been looking forward to reading based on the author's other work. Devastating in its beauty, hopeful in its ugliness, this is a perfect play for the times as two women reconnect through their demons and try to find a way to move forward. Femia has given us with this play two incredible characters to remember.

A haunting tale about the truth that exist beyond what we know, in what we question. The play is latered perfectly, making each peel. Delicious but frightening experience that only gets better when it gets to the center. If you have any question how horror could work on stage, read this play.

This is the kind of play that exposes the complications in simple life with such delicacy and truth that your heart becomes broken even before you know it. Femia has a knack for taking pain and making it beautiful through her words. After seeing a reading of it, me and my companions couldn't stop talking about it. Can't wait to see it as a full production!
  • ELLA-BELLA, THE BOOK FAIRY: A CHILDREN'S LIBRARIAN MONOLOGUE

Asher's words are a scream for attention from his characters! They teether in madness. They are people that are trying to do good, but the world punishes them for it. They go through the right path and then get attack by our new reality. Ella-Bella is about our lack of education and encouragement for it, and her words are like a knife that cut us with each statement, with each realization, with each twist of it. He continues to unravel the american experience in his monologues and if you are not reading them, you are definitely missing out.

What an incredibly fun and clever play! I was swoon by the characters, intrigued by the plot, and enamored with the world Escobar created from get go. Touching on heavy subjects like equality and gun control, but never becoming too serious to mess the Rhythm, Escobar transport us to a world that's easy to get lost in. The cooler part? Is that its our world, our history, but in Escobar's hands is a sci fi masterpiece. Best part? Finding out this is a series!

This play felt real... too real. In 10 pages Pittenger manages to show us a whole relationship cycle with one tense situation. A true example of what a great short piece should be.

When you ask yourself what an important piece of work looks like, THIS IS HOW! Craig-Galvan goes straight for the heart, and then leaves with your brain. I'm amazed!

A quick pace fun short play that structure should be a guide on how to write 10 minute play. Austgen manage to give us three dimensional characters and create absurdism with the most bare of moment. Bravo!

Asher has shown time and time again to be an expert of the short monologue format, but in here he truly shines as he tackles a full length and goes for the throat. An incredible character study of both our people and the hypocrisy of our society, Asher characters move the plot forward with both compassion and harsh realities. We can't help but love them and be afraid for them while somehow feeling the dreadful doom that accompanies their every step. I came with high expectations, and I was not disappointed with this extremely poignant work!

An uncomfortable and sincere play that feels like a dagger to the heart. Femia puts the character front and center of how most women felt when November 8, 2016 happen. How we all felt when it happened. A betrayal from a society we trusted to be better, a pain that took away a bit of our honor. "Pussygrabber" is an important one woman show that captures perfectly the sentiment of a disillusioned and assaulted nation.
