A great study about the women behind the men in power and a quiet reflection about what people consider success. Burbano masterfully crafts a chess match between old school traditional thinking and the future full of equality we seek. This is ultimately a play about the crumbling patriarchal system we are bathed on. And I'm here for it.

I was lucky enough to catch a production of this play recently and wow! Rodriguez has an ease capturing the heart of the culture, while managing to tell a universal story of love lost between mother and son, creating in the end a powerhouse work that is as funny as it is heartbreaking.

This play! It’s builds up like a great melody or pop song, in which you feel good hearing good dialogue and seeing things build up and then... the beat drop. This play was brutal and beautiful, it hurt and it inspires, it manages to show us the meaning of life through the meaning of friendship. Another strong play by a writer that demands attention.

A bond made on the thin line between life and death. A friendship created out of the desperation of two painful lifetimes. Gonzalez puts us in a situation in which words can only mend what has been broken, then let us experience the game between these two individuals that seek for the right words to accomplish their goals.

There's a lot to process in these 11 pages. Hansen works exposes one of the many questions most males in today's society have to ask themselves about their past. The feeling of dread and pain that starts seeping in little by little is intricately crafted with each line of dialogue, till at the end catharsis sets in and the question suddenly becomes a bit too real. Poignant work for the current state of affairs.

To think about how many species have become extinct since I was born, to be nostalgic about animals that didn't exist by the time I came into this world, to see this world destruct itself yet remain an spectator of it. How do you explain this to a child? How do you explain that love is not bigger than hate in this world, and that people's greed will always take things we love for gain... how? Bublitz play explores this in a way that is both heartbreaking and a rally for us to do better.

Oh man, being uncomfortable can be so funny! This play explores the deep uneasiness that our reality has become and the lines we have drawn on each other with witty dialogue and an ending that had me rolling.

Absolutely heartwrenching. Partain masterfully construct a relatable story that leads to a moment that has been often discussed but not taken in. This play makes you take in the pain of the experience by making you know what's lost.

This show! Such a beautiful exploration of what connects us as people, a great two hander that shows how much goes into a relationship and the things you have to sacrifice. I saw it as part of a festival a few years back, and I was in love.
