  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: The Berenstain Bearadox

An adorable monologue that would be great for any Dad audition! This piece escalates beautifully as the dad begins to question everything. Well done.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Barn Wood and Blue Roses (ONE ACT VERSION)

Stunning work. I want it to be a full-length play sooo badly! But this will have to be enough for now. It is theatrical and important and helps us understand disability and the greater fragility of life itself in the most beautiful ways! The language, the imagination, the characters, the situation, the fabulous as in fabled way the story is told... Get this to a stage now!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: The Romantic Movement

Bohannon has a great knack for writing all these different characters so well, and the relationships are so real. Such a great piece that juxtaposes the dream of being able to do what you love (music) v. the rest of life and war at the moment when these young 20 somethings have to leave their childhoods behind and make big choices - a beautiful play.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Unicorn (short play)

An oddly unique creature, this play. I always liked George Thorogood. And there's quite a lot of tension to make for something the actors can sink their teeth into while drinking.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Don't Toy with Me

I cannot recommend this highly enough! From the perfect title to the perfect ending, filled with double and triple entendres, great props, and such fun characters to play, this would be a blast for any festival. The best part is that it gives us so much to think about by messing with the constructs of our hetero-socio-normative world in the most humorous ways.

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: The Bee That Declared a War (10 Minute Play)

Wonderful work that deepens as it moves along - a seemingly ordinary evening that becomes a horrifying erasure. Very well done!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Lawncare

A very funny short play that continually escalates until it nearly spirals out of control!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: NOTES TOWARDS A DIALECTICAL THEATER, DECONSTRUCTED, RECONSTRUCTED, AND ULTIMATELY DISCARDED: A Love Story

Hilarious play about making theatre/art/beauty with many meta-layers to it. Very enjoyable, educational and sweet. The love story is lovely, and I loved the way there were many overlapping narratives especially about the rose and botany and making things. It's a remarkable piece!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Hide and Seek

What strikes me most are the similarities between Mr. Bunny and a certain other mister - I'm not giving anything away - that turn this very funny, rather adorable piece into a mystery that takes on a psychological bent, and then we're back in the humor and quirk of Lawing's fanciful piece. Well done!

  • Emma Goldman-Sherman: Emily McClain is Obsessed with Groups of 3

A follow-up to the Daniel Prillaman piece that plays with language in a different way. Astute and observant. Steven G. Martin is having a blast here, and we are all the luckier for it.
