Genius play for the climate and so persistently relevant to Covid. Who isn't ready to take a rocket-ship to anywhere! It is funny and absurd in a beautifully felt way, and there are lines in this play that only Carnes could write that just kill me! Brilliant non-sequiturs! So character-based and quirky and grounded in true human need. I love this play! I'm going to read it again now. You should too!

Carnes always has a way of making mythology so much fun! She activates her characters with all sorts of humanity that make them so relatable, and I've always wanted to relate on a deeper level to Diana, and now I can. This feminist play made me laugh so hard! Thank you, Rachael Carnes! Read, produce, repeat!

This is such a beautiful play! It just completely floors me. I'm just a puddle now remembering how hard it was to shop for my wedding gown. Wow. What a gift this is! Great work!

A beautiful family drama that is intergenerational and about artists and the demands and expectations and the ways in which women are often forced to give up our dreams or make enormous sacrifices to achieve them. Strong vibrant roles for women of several ages!

FABULOUS work! Here is an absurdist satire on late-stage capitalism: Pigs and the men (and gender-non-conformers) who love them. LAYERS! And if you think, Absurd is not real, think again. This is Such Honest Work! I'd also like to add that the doubling in this play is not conventional and deserves a read just to check out. Read, produce, repeat!

Audrey Lang has written a beautiful play. Besides the solid scene work, there are these snowy/dreamy sequences of high school characters projecting for themselves a future that we all want them to have. Of course we know that life doesn't happen that way, so it's heart-breaking. But the life that fills all aspects of this play is enormously appealing!

Beautiful work! The language is so well-scored with a great ear for the rhythms of the rise and fall of the scenes. The play holds up a mirror to erased history that must be witnessed and known. Simpson does a terrific job bringing it all to light. This play is a gift and a blessing.

Such an exciting and fabulous female-forward feminist fun play with the best characters ever! I love them! I want to see this play live onstage. I am a Fabulous Monsters Groupie! The love and the hurting is given such theatrical treatment by Burbano with wonderfully dramatic roles and language for actors to wrap their tongues around!

What a beautiful piece! So concise and yet it is this spareness that allows us to fill in so much and have our own experience with it and the tragedies that are Covid-19 in 2020. Thank you Elisabeth for this!

Lovely slice of life, if your life includes the recent-dead showing up on occasion. I really enjoyed the relationships, one new, one old. This play is so human!
