I love the distinct languages of the characters, the structure, and especially the theatricality of MUD SEASON. I love the predicament of being transplanted, stuck, trying to find a place to breathe freely and discover you screwed up. There probably is no free breathing left in this country. I love the dead characters from the past and how they function in this play making an unexpected stunning ending that will be awesome to see onstage.
