  • Shaun Leisher: Blood & Wine (a monologue)

Never has the process of making wine been discussed sexier or scarier.

  • Shaun Leisher: Autophobia: noun. a fear of one’s self (a monologue)

Love the use of poetry and verse in this short solo exploration of self-image.

  • Shaun Leisher: A Shared Mammary

I'd like this piece even if it was just a bit of physical comedy but the complicated characters really takes it to a new level!!

  • Shaun Leisher: 10,000 Years

Wonderful challenge for actors to ground this absurdist piece. How do you listen to your scene partner in a script where two characters refuse to hear each other?

  • Shaun Leisher: All the Way Down

A short scene that leaves so much up for interpretation and provides an excitement sandbox to play in for ambitious directors and designers especially.

This short monologue really takes you on a journey with this character. So honest and unapologetic.

  • Shaun Leisher: *~*ElAgAb FaB*~*

A stunning performance art/monologue piece that makes so much sense as a commentary on the rise of Trump. Made me want to look up the historical accounts this is based on. I would have paid a lot more attention when we covered Ancient Rome in social studies if the lessons were told through the lens of Salem.

  • Shaun Leisher: Kith and Tell

I'm in complete awe of how Gerardo creates a world in this play that feels foreign and yet very believable. The made up language and giving just enough information to help us know what's going on is absolutely brilliant.

  • Shaun Leisher: Natalie Wood Was Not Puerto Rican

This is a very "inside-baseball", theatre nerd premise but Barbot is able to make it a story about identity, the current state of Puerto Rico and love at first sight. It goes to some deep places but leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling too. Also....ONE OF THE CHARACTERS IS A DRAMATURG!!!!!
