  • Landmark Excursion a 5 minute play
    7 Mar. 2023
Anyone's first love is certainly something they remember. In this sweet and funny short play, D. Lee Miler gives us such a couple in Remy and Casey on school trip in New York City and the landmark Whispering Corners. Love, if it's real and true, doesn't need to be shouted but can be whispered across the universe.
  • The Interview
    7 Mar. 2023
Brutally honest and so damn funny. It hits all the right notes about ageism in the workplace and how so many companies look for ways to let you go if they can or use you up till you only option is to quit or retire. It's gotten better in a lot places, but there's still so many 2 inch dicks out there in the world ready to pounce on the unsuspecting.
  • Apology (short play)
    7 Mar. 2023
Any one who apologizes too much will appreciate this short play about, well, just that. Being one of those over apologetic I can relate. Simple, short and oh, so very meaningful.
  • Take Me Out

Lots of people have suicidal thoughts. It's hard not to get through life without some darker moments and this brilliant black comedy is one of the best I've read in a long time about such a dark place and one person's journey to end her life. A great ending that you won't ever see coming which makes it all the more delicious.
  • Truth Juice

Most everyone has been in this situation either as a child or as a parent and those times where you feel like you've committed the worse crime on earth (in my case as a child, a ceramic duck that my brother and I broke) and you wish the world would just drop out from you or that you could run away which I actually did instead of facing the truth!
  • FIREFLIES - one minute monologue
    6 Mar. 2023
Our moveable constellations. I loved that description so much and this play resonates with beauty and longing and heartache that you wonder if you've read an entire novel when you finish!
  • My Emotions Are Too Big For This Room
    6 Mar. 2023
Wow! Double wow! What a funny and oh so ripping play about the way the world used to be and treat women for their state of "hysteria". I'm glad this was my featured play of the day!
  • The United Plays of America - Alaska, Moose Lips
    4 Mar. 2023
Love the line "There's a Market for everything" and aren't we glad there is. I'll never think about moose the same way again. You can never underappreciate the depths a creative spirit will go to be inspired!!
  • DOG CHASES RABBIT (ONE-MINUTE PLAY)
    4 Mar. 2023
What a beautiful sentiment that's shared in this ode to friendship and lazy days where the world seems like it is decent and good and all you need is the beauty of nature which as we all now is a free gift to us all.
  • None Time
    2 Mar. 2023
I could use a lot of this none time. I have often been in that situation where an alarm goes off that I set and I don't have to get up, but just like Claire I have that feeling that I'll never be able to go back to sleep. Now I have a path forward the next time it happens.
