  • That's Hollywood (15 Minutes)

A funny tale about sex in the movies and two movie stars on the brink of divorce who are asked to film a nude scene for the new movie they are filming. Even through all the laughs, there is a sense of urgency and despair as Jake realizes that his and Nicole's marriage won't make it past his unfaithfulness and that is hit home by Nicole's confession though even though she had all the magazine covers and such, he used to have her, but not any more.

Never doubt a duck that can talk and never doubt how a duck can bring a city, state and country together. I've never seen this statue on my visits to Milwaukee but I know I'll definitely be looking out for it the next I am there.
  • TFW THE PUBLIC BATHROOM SINK HAS BETTER SECURITY THAN MY NEW IPHONE
    28 Feb. 2023
So many times I get the sinks that won't turn on or soap that doesn't come out or worse, soap that does dispense and then the water doesn't turn on and I feel just like the Jessie, stuck waiting for someone to help me get these automatic contraptions to work.
  • RENT-A-REPUBLICAN-GIRLFRIEND: A MONOLOGUE
    28 Feb. 2023
Funny from start to finish and then you realize that this girl is as real as it comes with her beliefs and feelings that are speeding our country at the speed of light to an a real civil war possibility and then your blood begins to boil with a sort of hate and ugly thoughts just like these Republicans must have about every democratic person here. If I only believed in guns, I'd buy one to protect myself from this dimwit nut job before she and her future husband could reproduce.
  • Bedtime Story

In the old days it was was the aunt or uncle or the baby-sitter. This tale of horror is about the up and coming thing in technology where your kid can just talk the robots and A.I. Sadly, these days, there are so many kids where they are swallowed in the silence of their headphones without the comfort of a human voice around. you've been fairly warned, Chad is coming.
  • I Am He

There's nothing that can prepare you for those feelings that come with being a father. The world suddenly shits into a more vibrant one as if from black and white to technicolor. Along with that sudden burst comes the worry and feelings of always wanting what is best for your child, for them to be happy and healthy and when that bubble pops like it has in Peter's world and the color has seeped out, there's hopefully a Merlin there who can help you find hope once again and comfort to face one day at a time.
  • Vitka
    27 Feb. 2023
A play that is riveting from start to finish and and has a thriller-like quality to it that's memorizing. Vitka Kempner shows and leads by example as Dalia comes to her about her abusive husband to be able to stand on her own and as her own person with what she was as wife under an abusive man. Freedom is never appreciated until it's taken away from us and these two women remind us how thankful we should be every day when we have it and can be our own person with our own set of dreams.
  • The Dawning Of The Age Of Ganymede
    27 Feb. 2023
I enjoy this version of Zeus and Hera, two gods out on a shopping spree working together as the true gods they are to find a new cup bearer for the gods and there's no sexier figure in all of the mythology than Ganymede. The way religion should have been. Oh, wait it was that way. This is the way religion should have stayed.
  • The Curious Tale of Marston Moore's Untimely Demise
    27 Feb. 2023
The title is spot on and poor Marston's tale of near misses to St. Peter and St. Peter's responses is funny as hell and considering that he did make it to Heaven, I feel God would allow that as long as he doesn't say the word out loud.

There's such a strong bond with Glynnis and Gayle that it makes you believe that anything is possible even if that thing takes us all over a rainbow to far away places to escape the world around us.
