What a thoroughly charming play about relationships and the rediscovering of what means the most to any one of value. This play hits so many buttons in its short time-frame, but the one that hits hardest is that last line where the man talks about knowing what’s important to him. I’ve been that man. I’ve been this woman as well and more times than not even the clerk. This is one of those plays that I’ll remember for quite some time.

This play scared me so much! It's so well done and creepy and just shows that when man is at his worse, there is nothing more horrific. The characters are so well done and the last scene left me shaken with not knowing who were these people arriving at the campsite. Truly terrifying and claustrophobic-inducing, this work is one that deserves to be seen by others!

Another gem by Steven G. Martin that's so damn funny and just a blast to read. I would like to see a marathon of his plays at some point because they sing on the page and I am sure they would ignite the stage with crowd-pleasing laughter and joy. But just like so many good plays that are great, the greatness comes from that reflection of the world around us, giving us a spot-on peek at just how to defeat those Mrs. Nottings and Mrs. Crulls out there in this world with a good dose of collaboration.

What a play! You know something’s good when you leave off reading one night and can’t wait to continue the next morning. That was me with “The Warmth of the Sun”. It would be such a great play to stage. Three great characters and snappy dialogue. Baby’s speech about why life is like baseball is just perfect and that was one of the many nuggets here.

The images and videos of that mother Orca carrying her dead calf on her back were heartbreaking. Rachael has pulled that distressing visual into a one minute play that ascends to such breath-taking heights. Everyone should read this tribute that will move many to tears but hopefully more into action for a better world.

This play ripped my heart in two. One of the main things I love about Gonzalez's writing is the passion behind it and it's no better evident then in this small gem. I saw another person call out the force of this play on Facebook and I immediately added it to my reading list and I'm so glad I did. If anyone does not understand white privilege and all the evil that goes along with it should read this play. It's heart beats loud and clear with the injustice that still sadly permeates our country.

This was such a great 10-minute play which begs to be seen live. Each of us are always reminded of how to appreciate each and every day and this play captures that feeling so succinctly with Romy and Leo's attempt to surface and the last line and action of one reaching for the other moves the heart and soul. Such raw and amazing poetry! This would be such a great monologue to see performed. Reading it was powerful but this is one monologue that begs to be performed.

Please give me more! I love this play! Love the humor! Love Antonio and Dirk and their little ride on the MBTA Blue Line. What a delightful read in the morning, noon or night. This play has made me a Rick Park fan and I'm looking forward to reading more of his work. I can understand the long production history for this play. It's inspired me for sure !
