  • Lee R. Lawing: Tennessee Wet Rub

How much nicer the world would have been without the rules and restrictions of religion and just let food bring people together. It’s something everyone has in common that brings all people together and can overcome a lot of baggage and fixed conceptions and upbringing faster than most any other thing. Ruyle presents a wonderful tale of an age which used to be and should have never been in the first place and yet we are still fighting the same batter today as we once did in 1951 which proves Tennessee Web Rub a play for all ages.

  • Lee R. Lawing: INEZ CUPCAKES STARRING IN: "MATH PROBLEMS"

It's said that everything we needed to know in life we learned in kindergarten, but all the rules of life we learned on the playground at school. Martin's funny and very touching play for children, and adults mind you, comes in all the right doses that will give you a shot of much needed appreciation of friendships and just what a friend means to each of us.

  • Lee R. Lawing: It's Not Blood

What a gut-punch to the stomach. Ruyle gives us a small gem of a play about what it means to be a man, a brother, a father and a son and the promises we make for our family and because of them.

  • Lee R. Lawing: A Clue in the Library

Not just funny, but laugh-out-loud funny. Hayet's parody will delight everyone.

  • Lee R. Lawing: It's Just a Couch

Beautifully understated piece about what could be the end of a relationship or the fresh start of an older one that's in need for some upgrades or changes. This play had me laughing as I was thinking of my own relationship and the fact that I'm the one who would hang on to everything for years, but the one nice thing about compromise is that you begin to see the charm of giving in to the other one as long they are giving in a little to you.

  • Lee R. Lawing: Beware the Ides of Mars

To break or not to break protocol is the question and Osgood gives us a scary and funny response. Very well done.

  • Lee R. Lawing: Barbie Throws a House Party!

Crazy fun and full of Pink hotness. Love this parody and would be a blast to see live!

  • Lee R. Lawing: BURGER BOY: A MONOLOGUE

It's rare that i can ever be the first to recommend a Wyndham piece. Yes, he's that good and every piece is different from the others. For some reason, this burger boy struck me as a homeless guy with a very good story to tell As always you are immediately drawn into the story because the person telling it is so full of all the colors of the rainbow!

  • Lee R. Lawing: DANI Q: A MONOLOGUE

Wyndham's monologue hits you hard and speaks so much of the culture of our workplace that for a lot of people is still a very real one where toxic masculinity rules and woman are still considered second class without a voice or rights or say in what happens to them. One would hope the VR world would be a safe place, a place where everyone could find adventure that's far removed from the harsh realities of our own world.

  • Lee R. Lawing: hometown

There's always a little bit of yourself in everything a writer writes, but with Jonte's splendid and oh so touching "hometown," you can see a little into this wonderful author's soul and you're ripped from emotion to emotion as you read this wonderful piece of art that's worth more than just one visit. I feel it is one that when performed will give the actor and audience a kaleidoscope of emotions and colors.
